Hmmmmm, during Ty Vickery/Tony Mokdissi court case. April 17 2018 is Plea Hearing, so please keep your eye for that one.

Former Richmond footballer Jake King has made a deal with prosecutors and will admit threatening to hurt another man, as well as possessing steroids.

The ex-AFL player had been accused of extortion and threatening to kill Tony Mokdissi in May 2017 over a $150,000 debt, but those charges will be dropped as part of the plea deal.

The former Tiger will plead guilty at his next court appearance to threatening to seriously injure Mr Mokdissi and possessing steroids, the magistrate heard

King made no comments to reporters as he left court. He will return for a plea hearing on April 27.

Prosecutors will withdraw charges of extortion, making threats to kill and harassment.

DISGRACED former Tiger Jake King has walked free from court with a slap on the wrist with a lot of help from his footballer mates.

King, who was caught on tape threatening to bash a bloke he claims ripped off estranged friend Ty Vickery, was today sentenced to a 12-month good behaviour bond, without conviction, and asked to pay a $5000 donation to charity.

He was supported with character references from a who’s who of AFL heavyweights.

Among them were Brownlow winner Dustin Martin, former champ Matthew Richardson, Tigers boss Brendon Gale and former Tigers president Gary March.

Such was the love-in, a former police sergeant with 25 years on the job provided a glowing reference for the former Tiger.

Hope you buy lotto tickets jake, had you been joe citizen good luck
