Obrien is playing a back pocket for Peel, he is full of rebound and he loves to take on the defence, as he is getting bigger he is getting better at it.

His problem is that he zones of too much, like Paul Bower a year earlier, he finds a lot of the footy but so does his opponent. Once he can start stopping his opponent, those rebounding attributes and hardness he owns will be put to good use.

I mention it earlier this week but for those who missed it, have a good look at Duff and the way he moves across the ground. Very balanced and seems to be gliding. A lot like captain toast.

Yes but he kind doesn't of break the lines or tackles like Judd or Deledio, or handball in close contests like Judd or kicks the same....

As far as I am concerned, I have always thought that Collard moves and plays very similar to Akermanis, the difference being that he is much taller than Akermanis. Andrew MacLeod is another similar example. He is a good young prospect, and probably as good as any that we might draft this year, but he will be even better if he can get his endurance up and get over his OP so that we can move him from HFF/FP to the middle of the ground.

If collard becomes half the player that judd is than i will be very happy. then again pistol you know that players often get prematurely compared i.e shannon hurn with voss and buckley haha

Agree an acurate 50 metre pass which players like haselby, bell are capable of is a lot more effective than a 50 metre dash

If they could do this on a consistent basis we'd be premiership material.
