So sheed has had shoulder surgery in the offseason. So good chance he won't be spending too much time in the gym.As long as he can improve his tank, it won't be a huge issue as dom is pretty strong for his size already.

Midfielder Andrew Gaff was prescribed a long period of rest over the off-season, rather than surgery, after carrying an ankle issue through 2017, and he sat out the club's recent 2km time trial. Club champion Elliot Yeo was also on the sidelines for the opening trial with a hip issue he is recovering from. After a period of rest, the Eagles expect to see him in the main training group in the next few weeks. Star ruckman Nic Naitanui is progressing well following a minor arthroscope on his reconstructed left knee and could be in the main training group as soon as next week. Draftee Oscar Allen arrived with a lower leg tibia injury that still needs to heal and has been putting in a lot of time in the swimming pool and gym. Eric Mackenzie is also focusing his time on the gym rather than the running track as he returns from surgery on a big toe. Defender Tom Barrass (groin) has increased his running program to the point he should be in the main group by January. - Nathan Schmook

Looked on AFL website at medical room and it doesn't mention Sheed with shoulder surgerey? Sourse avish?

My bad.
Article was from August 31st. and i read it as October on first read.

Yeah his body shape still for an inside player is a bit underwhelming. Tho it could be an instruction from simmo and the other coaches. They probably see redden and ah chee in the coal face and want Dom to be more of an inside/outside mid.
