Agree. I think people harshly judge defenders for failures of the midfield. Defence wins finals, but that doesn’t mean it’s all on the back six.

Mongrel Punt specifically commented on our defence rather than our backline, mentioning that it was subpar all over the ground. I'm a bit biased cos I volunteer for them occasionally, but the guy who runs it knows his shit
