Er Ruck IS a midfield position, and besides there are half a dozen ruckmen who have won it in the past. I see no reason why Natanui can't win it.C'mon we all know it's a midfielders medal

And your point is ? Ruck is still a midfield position and ruckmen HAVE won the Brownlow in the past. All I was saying is that I see know impediment to Natanui winning the Brownlow.

I'm not disagreeing with you.
My point is, it's been awhile since a player outside the midfield has won a brownlow, nothing less, nothing more.
No need to jump down my throat. At least buy me a drink first.
EDIT: On Naitanui - I can't see him winning a brownlow. More a Norm Smith or a Rossco Glendinning Medal chance tbh. One off games, not a sustained season of brilliance.

It is interesting.... I reckon the media/afl community are a bit more conscious of just how much nata adds to our midfield. Wouldn't surprise me if the umps notice him a bit more this season and gets a few votes

A repeat of his 2015 efforts would be perfect, silver service to priddis shuey gaff and co, a few link ups with Jetta, some push back in defence to help out. Would love to see him occasionally left one out deep in the 50 old school style with JK and Big Jack patrolling half forward. Just keep improving naita and keep giving 100% that is all we need from you!

As my favourite player, it hurts to type this but:
If we get back to the grand final again this year.......
Then my expectations of Nic Nat will be that he better make damn sure he gets more then 4 lousy possessions total for the entire game with 3 of those being ineffective
That's one measly touch per quarter in the biggest game of his life for the mathematically challenged.
Which is, quite simply, crap
He plays well on the big stage, and that's the only expectation I want to see in 2016

It hurts me to say that Shuey left his brain in perth but it's true.
Hopefully it burns and they get the chance to make up for it. For themselves, eachother, the coaches and then for us fans.
The 22 games and 3 weeks of finals are just qualifiers. Need to make the most of it, next chance they get.
