First time I got on a plane, I was surprised at how noisy planes are. So quiet on TV.

I've upgraded a few times from Perth to Melbourne on the red-eye because I needed the sleep, but I won't do it anymore.

First time was in the Airbus 330 wide body so I got the seat that lays down flat into a bed. I'm a terrible sleeper on planes and I had been up since 3:30am and then worked 12hrs and then had spent the past 4 or 5 hrs sitting in the Virgin lounge at Perth airport. I needed the sleep because I had a 2hr drive to Phillip Island and I didn't want to be severely fatigued and I had stuff to do that morning. As soon as I was able, I lay that seat down, took my shoes off and went to sleep. Within 40 minutes I'm woken up by all of this tinkling noise. Other people in business class are eating with the cutlery and china. It's half past midnight, you don't need to eat campaigners, go to sleep. I didn't matter then, i couldn't get back to sleep.

Whenever I book my tickets I always check to see what sort of plane I'm flying on, just in case I want to upgrade again. I've done it 3 more times since when it has said we're on the Airbus wide body, only to get on the plane and it's a bloody 737 and they just have those wide leather, plush seats down the front.

No more for me, plus the minimum amount you can bid as a Velocity Gold member has risen from $260 to $325 or you can buy it now for around $600.

You didn't get a visit from a Maternal Health, Breastfeeding Nazi, Nurse? My wife was the same as you, in the end we switched to the bottle. I was almost tempted one day to jump my post office counter, grab the nurse, who was basically bullying and belittling my wife, by the hair and drag her out my front door and give her one to go on with on her way out said door.

Our health nurse had a backlog so didn't visit us til week 2. My girlfriend was sent home from hospital within 24 hrs of giving birth and the health nurse was awful when she visited. Made her feel like absolute shit because her milk wasn't in yet.

An AFL Grand Final. I had always wanted to go to one and I thought it would be something special. But it turned out to be just another footy game at the MCG, which you can do any weekend of the season. The atmosphere wasn't as good as big games in the regular season because of all the neutrals/corporates.

Seeing my English soccer team play a couple of cup finals at Wembley was special as you never normally see your them play there. The fans of each team get a lot more tickets than the AFL gives to the fans of the competing clubs.

Couldn’t agree more with this (and not because of the results).

Prelims are a much better game to attend and the three best games I’ve ever been to atmosphere wise were prelims. 2007 v Geelong, 2011 v Hawthorn and 2018 v Richmond. Just electric. Saturday’s game was the best GF that I’ve attended though, despite the ending.

I expected to be soooo happy when I purchased my first Lamborghini. I'm gonna drive it around the city, pull up at the front entrance of Crown and throw my keys at some immigrant valet and walk through the doors like a baller. I'm gonna have thots drooling. I'm gonna make every other man who sees me driving it feel inadequate. But after the first couple of drives, I realised that it's just like any other less expensive car. Sure it goes a little faster, but that's not much use when I have to drive at the speed limit. Plus it costs a shit ton in petrol and insurance. I really shouldn't have bought it.

Actually I had no idea what to expect before my first tug, I had of course experienced mild sexual arousal through wet dreams and seeing women in public dangle their high heels, but damn I didn't expect it to be as good as it was.
