What are some things that you've experienced that were different to what you expected?

First time I got on a plane I expected it to be packed like it is on TV/movies, but it was probably only 30% full.

What are some of your experiences where what you expected wasn't actually the case?

Pubs.

The steady bar with the leisurely bartender up for a chat has very rarely been a thing I've experienced. Nearly all of the time these people are being run off their feet with work to do, and people don't sit on the same drink for twenty minutes allowing them time to socialise.

Dating uni educated Australian women.

They're hot as phuq physically but missing a few roos in the top paddock. They think because they have a uni degree they know everything and don't like to be proven wrong. They can't bare to comprehend all that money they spent getting thier degree has made them dumber.

But date a Dutch or German chick even Chinese and self taught high intellect makes thier clothes just fall off

I thought breastfeeding would be beautiful and natural and easy. It ****ing hurt like a mother****er and was one of the hardest things I've ever tried to do and then I had to stop anyway because my baby was losing weight instead of gaining :sob:

I expected that after high school all the school yard bitchiness would come to an end but workplace politics is just as bad.

My childhood expectations of being an adult were way off. Yeah I can stay up as late as I want but I want to go to bed by 9.30pm :tearsofjoy:

I heard so much about the taste of breast milk straight from the breast. I was dissapointed. It's suppose to be a thrill feeding off a lactating woman during sex.

First time was good but that was the plecebo effect. Chinese medicine says it's a life force that raises testorone levels

Not what's it's cracked up to be.

However studies show that breast feed babies live.longer are more emotionally stable and themselves breed healthier children with less cases of gender dysphoria and autism spectrum disorders. Evidently the bonding between mother and child huge long term
