People having problems is no indictment of the theory of evolution. Not sure what you are getting at other than lending Pro35 a shoulder.
Medicine has "circumvented" natural selection to some extent and society and law among other things have deviated evolution and natural selection though mans ability to manipulate evolution and natural selection is a natural occurrence so, still fully within the scope of the theory.

The theory, though not the phenomena, would have been "successfully" challenged had the church successfully killed off all it's champions for heresy.

Dont you love it when people pretend they know what they are talking about? common ancestry is the logical conclusion cause the original protein set in a DNA is the same for ALL creatures. It does not take massive number of mutations to arrive at the modern proteins (only takes a few). This has been proven through several studies.

i think you may fail to grasp the extraordinary time factor in the evolutionary process P35. if earths existence (4.6 billion years) was condensed to a 1 hour time frame.

17 minutes and 37 seconds- first bacteria.
40 minutes and 26 seconds- first cells with a nucleus.
52 minutes and 34 seconds- first diverse sea life.
53 minutes and 26 seconds- first land plants.

55 minutes and 42 seconds- first reptiles.

Dude he is confused on what makes a scientific theory, he still thinks evolution has no evidence outside of a few dug up fossils, how on earth are you going explain him evolution? when you are reading institute of creation research for scientific evidence, thats the best you can get.

They were serious lol have been told many times by many christians and muslims "think what you want, you evolved from monkeys but i havent, the creator made me".. i didnt know whether to laugh or cry lol. However since i am aboriginal, racist jokes get around "yeah i can see you evolved from monkeys but look at me, do i look like one"... hilarious really.

Evolutionary theory attempts a holistic explanation that incorporates & relies upon many other fields/areas of study, that are well established....It's the over-arching 'grand-narrative' & conclusion I draw issue with....That somehow when you add all these factors together, it 'proves' the 'grand-narrative'....It doesn't.

This is in fact the fallacy of composition.

You & your scientific brethren would do well to start a simple course in logic....Suggest Aristotle's 'categories' as a good place to begin with.

do you deny the process of evolution completely or do you just not like where it is taking us?
