King....a disgrace. What was he doing forward?? Harley had a stitch from laughing so hard

Reiwodlt...turnover city.

Why do we play four blokes right in front of richo???

morton was towled by harley and didnt try.

rewoldt had another shocker and need to put more effort in and at least look as if he is trying.

kings form has deserted him.

edwards, tambing and mcmahon are still turning it over most of the time.

jackson and white's brains are too slow.

yes lets pay out on the kids for playing one bad game against the best team in the league...the usual drivel

anything else youd like to add? a tirade slamming TW maybe?
a backhander to some of our older players?
maybe even a passing shot at Miller for drafting these kids?

i dont have time for people that solely need to find negatives with everything

please crawl back into the hole from whence you came

The specifics of which players are not up to it etc etc are not as important as the fact that our team continues to commit the most basic of skill errors and turns the ball over by foot way too much. It's a fact, and it has been ever since I can remember. It's so frustrating...

Idiot remark...Geelong are the standard we should be aiming at....not just beating bottom 8 sides.

You're a loser with a loser attitude. Everything's rosy, right?
And cut the we're a 'kid team' shit excuse, it's wearing thin.

You're a waste of space as a supporter, Mr.Happy-With-Nothing-Just-Cause-You-Don't-Want-To-Achieve. Back in your mediocre world.

Loser

I'll say one thing if I may. Not enough respect paid to Mackie! He is crucial for us! I think we were able to manipulate King onto him? Every time Mackie was killing Richmond with his run and carry all the way up to half forward, (plus a lazy two goals!) I looked back and saw King standing all alone in the forward 50. Happened many times.

He is ordinary defensively, the Mack (as you all saw with his piss weak attempt to turn and spoil against one of your guys in the goal square late) but he MUST be respected offensively.

These are the players that have played major roles in winning us games this season. I guess we are young and this is bound to happen but we must keep in mind Geelong are unforgiving.

Brown out hurt.

King is an interesting one important positive sides ti his game but more negatives and displays them more often. Its wether he can improve or not is the question. Should be carving up at Coburg before he gets another game.

People bang on about measuring sticks. I think that a good measuring stick for this season will be wether or not we can beat teams below us (Fremantle, Melbourne) and hold our own agianst Adelaide and Hawthorn. Not how we fare against a side that looked twice the size of us. I think that it was more of a long term measuring stick. It more showed us that there are more flaws to our game than we may have thought.

Hold our own against Adelaide?

If we are not able to beat Adelaide then the improvement is hard to believe.

Im happy to lay off this week but next week the spotlight is back on and we can see whether there has been any improvement.

Alot of wins against lower sides could easily have gone the other way.

Yes we were expsosed, by THE BEST.

Lets put it into perspective though, the doggies also had thier pants pulled down only two weeks ago.

Richmonds game was without doubt under pressure from the first bounce, every missed target was jumped on by the cats who are so confident in thier ability at the moment which hurt the tigers mentaly as much as on the score sheet.

We are heading in the right direction, we just need to wait. We won't win a flag this year or next, but after that when we have completed our apprenticeship the sky will be the limit.

Morton's form over the past two weeks has been poor. Prior to that on was on fire. Interestingly, his loss of form has coincided with the absence of Hughes. As a medium sized forward, I'd be prepared to guess that the lack of a solid-bodied tall forward (apart from Richo's cameos) is exposing him to attention from the better larger defenders and he is not being given the space he has used to such great effect previously. I have a lot of faith in Mitch. I'm sure he will learn. Fingers crossed that the coaching panel doesn't hit the panic button and drop him.

Of the other players in the team, only three concern me. King's disposal does seem consistently sub-par. And I can't see a role for him if he can't develop an overhead defensive game. Schultz is still not having enough impact for a player of his size and experience. And, sadly, Johnson simply does not seem to able to hurt the other sides enough for a Captain (although I can still see a defensive role for him).

Overall, we are definitely on track.

Sorry to say this but I am kind of with the Roll on this one. Morton was terrible and continued to run under the ball on the lead (is he scared of getting hit?).

King just didn't look up to it last night, I love the endevour of the bloke but even when he got near it he was set upon by the cats and he let Mackie run off half back all night.

Jordon "Sanchez" McMo has no defensive side to his game, another who let his opponent do as he pleased, I'm sure he spent time on Mackie.

Jackson and Johnson were terrible. The two factors I can't get past is the basic errors the side makes. Not just skill errors but basic game skills like defensive postioning in pack situations etc etc. However worst of all was the number of players who went at Milburn after he dumped Edwards, who was our BOG at that stage.

It's no wonder snakes like Milburn can attack our kids week in week out, because they know none of the senior bloke will do **** all about it. Ever seen Milburn attack a kid from Brisbane no; because he knows someone like J.Brown would rip his head off.

On the plus side, Moore and McGuane were good and I don't care if Tambling gets caught at least he now looks to take the game on. Tambling getting caught most times last night had less to do with Tambling and more to do with his teammates not creating options around the packs.

LMAO! On fire? You are kidding? played some good quarters and halves but how many good full GAMES did he play?
As i have on here before he double grabs, has no second effort and plays with no desperation. Needs a rocket and needs to get fitter.

AFL sides know that if they apply physical pressure to Richmond it's players will turn into individuals and protect their own back. This lack of courage and comradery has to stop otherwise all the skill in the world will get us nowhere.I agree with your comments wholeheartedly.:thumbsu:
