She is generally positive but can also be critical and forthright on subjects.

No, being a moderator is not a popularity contest!I mean, isnt the thread used as a popularity contest to see who the board would accept? If so, people do need to be able to voice an opposition to a candidate. That's an ordinary part of the politic.
