I’d think Johnson a type of player inline with that sortve a philosophy

Hence not involved in North Melbourne's list build.

Somebody on the Essendon forum recently suggested the Bombers should get him back in the AFLW system, evidently unaware he was their midfield coach for the past 2 seasons.

Yep buggered that up.
Gowans not Groves.

It was a plan hatched by then-senior coach Scott Gowans (appointed in October 2017, giving him a year of planning before pre-season began), list manager Rhys Harwood (now senior assistant coach) and head of footy operations Laura Kane; with support from recruiter Josh Hare (now at Adelaide) and academy manager Lou Caluzzi (now football projects manager at the AFL).

Have to question Harford's commitment to coach. That's one of the reasons he left the Blues, he had media commitments and couldn't fine time for a full time AFLW gig.

We have an opportunity now to make some significant change and also change the perception of the AFLW program for potential new talent in all aspects of the program.
I really hope our leaders and players are pulling together and driving that mindset for more from themselves and each other.
We will have more talent available and we will have a significantly different fixture next season.
