Absolutely nothing to do with firebugs who started the fires. Absolutely with you 100%. There were no fires before climate crisis deniers. No Ash Wednesday or Black Friday because we didn’t have climate change then. Nothing to do with lower back burning levels. Absolutely got to be climate change.

Climate change equals intensity.

Yeah yeah greenies mumble mumble.

Did you read about manufacturers not fixing the other emissions? No?

Unfortunately greenies mumble mumble has become mainstream.

The Kyoto protocol was an international agreement signed by 192 countries which obliged rich countries to reduce their CO2 emissions. As a result the EU committed car-makers to reduce CO2 emissions by 25% over 10 years.

The manufacturers and public were offered subsidies and sweeteners to persuade them to switch to diesel. Under EU pressure, governments kept the diesel price below that of petrol. In the UK, the amount motorists paid in vehicle excise duty was linked to cars’ CO2 emissions, effectively incentivising people to buy diesels. The Kyoto CO2 emissions target and the EU policies to switch the European car fleet to diesel caused the NO2 increases that you claimed were more dangerous than London stabbings.

1. Diesel in Queensland was cheaper than petrol for many years. People didn't swap over.

2. So? Bad policy, should have dealt with the fine particles and NO2 as well. Now we know. Fix this problem too.

EasternTiger come quick!

Violence being justified! Right in front of you!

I didn't want to respond to this post last night as it was obvious you were on your third glass of chardonnay.

Don't go blaming me for the example you have set for your own members.

If posters see you are ok with violence, then guess what? Monkey see monkey do.

I told you to clean up your act and not cross certain lines, such as justifying violent acts; but no you didn't want to listen. You reap what you sow Chief.

Here endeth the lesson.

Our friends at Extinction Rebellion have been rather quiet of late, maybe something to do with the Christmas holiday season and it being bitterly cold outside during the Northern Hemisphere winter months. But not for Canada's version of Greta Thunberg, Anne Cognito (not her real name) she and her friends have set up a tent shanty town in the middle of Canada's National War Memorial. It's all good though, this is Trudeau's Canada and laws down apply to leftists, so no permit to squat on a public space required, the authorities even taped off the square to keep out those pesky relatives of fallen soldiers out.

The kicker here is that most of the tents in their shanty town aren't even occupied. That's right, it seems it is a little too cold outside for most of the climate warriors as they're sleeping inside the hotel across the street. Which begs the question, why even set the tents up in the first place when you can just show up every morning, protest all day then go sleep in a nice hotel room every night? As it turns out it's not even the first time this has happened in Canada. During the Occupy Movement protests a few years ago, a clever journalist with a heat seeking device broke the news that most of the massive tent city was in fact abandoned overnight as the hardcore protestors found more comfortable digs in surrounding hotels. So much for commitment to the cause.

Protesters complaining about extreme weather cant tolerate extreme weather. Wouldnt that make them consistent if they went inside with their protest?

If they could stay outside and sleep in the weather wouldnt that makethe, hypocrites?

Edit- i forgot your the poster that put me on ignore after I called you out for posting a thread complaining about random democrats calling people vermin only days after you called whole groups of democrats rats.

Terrorism police list Extinction Rebellion as extremist ideology

"Counter-terrorism police placed the non-violent group Extinction Rebellion (XR) on a list of extremist ideologies that should be reported to the authorities running the Prevent programme, which aims to catch those at risk of committing atrocities, the Guardian has learned."

"The climate emergency campaign group was included in a 12-page guide produced by counter-terrorism police in the south-east titled Safeguarding young people and adults from ideological extremism, which is marked as official."

"XR featured alongside threats to national security such as neo-Nazi terrorism and a pro-terrorist Islamist group.
The guide, aimed at police officers, government organisations and teachers who by law have to report concerns about radicalisation, was dated last November."

Look at some of the rent a mob brain surgeons that were out there braving the cold and the rain in on Friday.

Once again, the far left showing its willingness to engage in violence and abuse to shut down opposition debate.

I can't imagine how embarrassing the rest of the footage must have been...

How has this not received more attention???

https://www.theguardian.com/uk-news...emist-ideology-police-prevent-scheme-guidance

It says that issues to look out for include people who speak in “strong or emotive terms about environmental issues like climate change, ecology, species extinction, fracking, airport expansion or pollution”.
The document also flags young people taking part in non-violent direct action, such as sit-down protests, banner drops or “writing environmentally themed graffiti”.
When the Guardian first asked police about the document, officials said they would review the guidance to clarify their position on Extinction Rebellion. But following further questions, counter-terrorism police confirmed it had been circulated to “statutory partners” and had now been recalled. They said they now accepted that the protest group was not extremist.

Speaking in strong or emotive terms about environmental issues... was put in the same basket at Islamic terrorism...

What is the punishment for not reporting or acting if you see someone showing strong terms about environmental issues???...

Only after being questioned by the Guardian... they changed their position.
The Guardian understands that counter-terrorism officials at a national level believe including XR in the guide was a mistake and insist they do not view its ideology as extremist. They say any such advice was issued by Counter Terrorism Policing South East (CTPSE) in the south-east of England and not in any other part of the UK.
In its first statement, CTPSE said: “This document was produced at a local level to help our partners to spot the signs of vulnerability to radicalisation. By including Extinction Rebellion in this document, it gives the impression we consider them to be an extremist group, which they are not. We will review the guidance to make this clear.”

But the correction doesn't matter. As evidenced by Andrew literally posting the article that refutes his post.

Ignore Avi.

Focus on the people who after being asked by police not to hold this event as it simply wasn’t the appropriate time, went ahead anyway.

Focus on the ease with which they fling the word ‘fascist’ around.

Focus on how quickly these people are prepared to physically escalate matters.

And these are meant to be the ‘good guys’?
