things stopping his sacking are
.2y contract extension and the $
.admin who signed the extension will look stupid.
.long club history of sacking coaches
.supporting you coach is in vogue atm
.definitely too soon in any case

All in all its too politically unpalatable to do right now. Club admin have to wait until the external pressure boils over so as to cover their own arses. End of year at the soonest is my guess. After a "thorough independent review" o_O
From my limited understanding of footy admin, I would have thought that the main issue would be the 'soft cap'?

Cool. Stop taking shots or take it off the forum.

Saying someone has NPD and all that entails is a cheap personal shot.

So unless you have the balls to say it off the forum then give it a rest.
I dont even know what NPD means, but as Sheedy once said, not all snipers were in Vietnam (was referring to Walls) ;)

My impression, as an outsider, is the coach offers no spark, passion, inspiration. Nothing to get excited about. He’s vanilla. I don’t sense any sort of imagination or creativity at all.

Tactically, he appears to do little during a game. He lost me when we played North in round 2. I was heartbroken at half time and we weren’t trailing then.
Yeah, this was the round that got me as well and made me think "we're in a lot of trouble here, we've been worked out and where the hell is the plan B!!!"

What Brad Scott and North did to us, only a few teams had done to us the year before (Carlton and Sydney) but it was very, very effective. What that round 2 game told me was that ALL opposition coaches/analysts had spent the off-season going to school on our gameplan, seen what could beat it and knew exactly how to approach playing us.

I think it was Bevo on Talking Footy earlier in the year when asked about the Bulldogs and their terrible start and how they were turning it around said something like "We worked on Gameplan A, B and C in the pre-season. Plan A clearly wasn't working in the first couple of weeks so we've moved onto B and it is working better. We might change between gameplans depending on opponent and even go back to A but at the moment B is doing pretty well."

Unfortunately I don't think we have mutiple gameplans. Even if we do, none of them are working very well after 7 rounds so it has to be a real concern.

Have had the exact same thoughts about the opposition working us out after Carlton showed we could be beaten even with their shit team.

Richo has shown me nothing that he can change up the gameplan to combat it considering once it is shut down, we look slow as a wet week.

Could encourage more fans to turn up to games? Everyone bring your rotten tomatoes down for the weekly Richo pelting!
And make sure he's in stocks so the tomatoes don't miss..........I can just see Bay 36 at Etihad packed with people pitching tomatoes at Richo.

Have to say.....I'd be there..LOL.

I thought it was a non performing dick... Hence I was very offended.
Hello all. THis conversation is truly mesmerising! Im a first time poster, long time lurker. The80s were worse as was 2000. Still think Richo has NFI. And probably NPD either!

watching afl360 can’t help but think Richo is helpless & has answers. Fmd we ain’t getting out of this rut anytime soon
I get the feeling he knows the problems arn't with the game plan but more with the skills or the lack there of.
