Surely he should have thrown a swing at Robbo. Would have gotten cheers from everyone.
Should have torn strips off of the players and coaching staff and let the public know step by step what they were actually going to do about it.
Oh and they should have had a full match simulation today in front of the camera.

Am I doing it right?

To be honest it was good to see him uncomfortable. Shows that he gets it. Good to see Geary come out and front up. But as they both said. Time for words is over. Time for action.
I agree, although I like Robbo (apart from his Essendon/James Hird infatuation).

I would’ve liked a line in the sand moment from Richo...

“The performance was unacceptable especially by our on-field leaders. It’s up to them to deliver, which they didn’t. It’s up to myself & the line coaches to set out parameters & expectations that the players are required to deliver & if they don’t there is consequences. The players need to respond because we are not accepting that gutless performance”.

I thought he was meek & lacked any kind of authority. I really hope his persona off the tele is different because he presents like he’s more interested in keeping friends rather than developing footballers.

I can see the sweat dripping of Richo.
This may sound like I'm a bad supporter but I'm going to say it anyway. Sometimes when we're getting pumped I want the margin to blow out by more, so they players and coaches can finally wake up and realize how pathetic the performance actually is.

In a sick & twisted way I'm glad the margin blew out to near 10 goals on Friday. If the game was done and we kicked a few in junk time to reduce the margin to say 3-4 goals I don't know if it would sink in to the players/coaches as much as it's done now.

Okay.. yeah there’s been times where I’ve thought he could show more outward passion.
I just think he talks a lot without saying anything, think I'm just sick of talk and was hoping for so much more this year.
Over his time every year we have games where we get opened up so badly and we can't stop it and still no improvement in this area.
Friday was against North who i thought have worse list in the league

C'mon mate. You've asked a completely irrelevant question. I ask you a question to reiterate my point and you're just like I don't know.
I asked you a simple question. You had a go because of what he said. What should he say? Abuse the list. Punch walls. I honestly think people think whatever he says on a tv show he says to players. I reckon that could not be further from the trutg

I was feeling the same in the last quarter. It really does feel like we’re in the bottom tier when it comes to gameplan/consistency/developing talent etc

I was saying to myself for North to keep kicking our arses, the games already done, now just belt us into oblivion. I reckon if we kept treading water it would just end up even worse. We need a good "flashpoint" moment that smacks them all in the face and gets them up and out of this monotonous cycle.

Happened with Melbourne when they traveled to Geelong and lost by 186 points. Sacked the coach and began again.

Ours wasn't of the same margin obviously but definitely think it was thereabouts in terms of media scrutiny and magnitude within the club.

I said this prior to round 1..

"I told you all weeks ago. When the spotlight finally shines on us it will shine bright.

Club has said we are to play finals. The world is now watching"

It must be hot being Richo and Gears right now. Can't imagine the heat if we get dismantled by the Crows

What happens when we lose by a combined total of 300 points over the next month? It’s coming imo....

I think we are all in the same boat now.. Richo has had 5 years and we want results for the time we have given supporting this rebuild.

hawthorn which is after the 3 tough games
melbourne which is after hawthorn
collingwood round 9
suns round 13

.....

feels that way mate

do you know if we were smart enough to chuck some clauses into his contract for 2019 and 2020, given 2018 was the final year in his original contract?

Then the media will turn on the club. Back page articles on every form of media saying we failed etc. Won't be pretty sponsors won't be happy and we the fans will talk with our feet and wallets....

Pressure is building. Give us results or give us someone who will

I see it this way. If the side is that inept and represent the club and it's supporters with performances like that, then I think as supporters we have the right to criticize them however we see fit.

If they aren't playing for the jumper and playing with some heart then why are they there. Players come and go every year. Players get traded, players retire, players get delisted. Yet the one constant each and every year is us miserable bastards that have to put up with it.

So I reckon we deserve a bit more. I wouldn't care if we lost 22 games by 100 points if we show that we put up a fight and play with some pride. It's alarming when professional footballers on half a million a year come out and represent themselves like that.

Lets hope it's a once off but I'm not holding my breath.

We've lost way too many games that we should've won over the past two years IMO.

We were right under the spot light the moment we said it's finals time .

We don't need to be embarrassed to a certain opposition .we just need to keep losing.

That's cute. But not happening.
We are stuck with *Alan Richardson aren’t we? FMD

It was ARR that recently highlighted the fact that we have consistently dropped our bundle in crunch games. Melbourne twice last season, Essendon last season & against North the season prior. If Richo can’t get us up for big games then he needs to question whether he’s the right man for the job imo.

It's clear that Richo is under the pump now. It's actually refreshing to see. No more flying under the radar.

Coaches & players need to be reminded what it means to play for St.Kilda.
But what exactly DOES it mean to play for st kilda? I honestly struggle to see what it is that the players and coaches stand for. What makes us: us?

They're trotting out all the right lines but they're saying absolutely nothing.

The saddest part is that i just don't trust them.

You can add Port to that list. Two goal lead with two minutes left and we get done. Played well that night but again couldn't finish our dinner.
