what? are you ****in' serious?

im not even gonna bother with this anymore.....

same old arrogant "been here for 4 years, im better than you"

catch!

So you haven't noticed how he twirls the ball a million times and sways it from side to side on his walk in to kick? He shanks it 9 times out of ten.

im saying schultz would be worth keeping.

Agreed!

Schultz is just another example of a promising young player who has not delivered because of the Punt Road Footy School's inability to develop raw talent. Just a further indictment on the RFC.

Watch Schultz mature into key contributor when he arrives at Alberton and gets the benefit of people who actually know how to get the very best from their playing group.

Let's put it this way.
He is a young and well built KPP.
He was taken with ?pick 12 in his respective draft.
We have put 5 years of development into him.
We know he can take a grab and on his day is a great kick (got the yips recently).
I think the only reason we should let him go is if we know we are getting something better! Maybe a swap for Jude Bolton or even Travis Johnstone, or as a part trade for Cam Wood. Otherwise NO WAY!

So Schulz wants out...wants to go to S.A....

Well, for as long as I've seen that dud I've said he wasn't up to it.
I blamed his playing ability.
Well now we know he's not up to it mentality as well.
Can't get a kick with us, thinks he can get a kick somewhere else, onya Schulz!

Now our system, club, training, coaches all may be to blame, but Schulz has to carry most of the burden. Schulz may get a kick in a better side. That's not a reflection on the state of the RFC, that's the pathetic mind-set of Schulz who wants a better side around him to get a kick. Geelong could slot you or me into their side and we could ride on their coat-tails and look a million bucks, but when it comes down to getting your own footy, Schulz was a DUD!
(Mark my words: There will be a time, next season on the TV with Schulz will look great playing for some other team when he's hit cleanly on the ****, leading to a kick from a better player......but he doesn't have a 2nd effort. Even Richo, makes the effort to back himself after the ball hits the ground)

My point is that we need to identify players who can get a kick under OUR system, not another club's. We do have players currently who can do this, so we keep them. Those that cannot adapt to our club and get a kick and help us progress, shouldn't be given valuable years that waste OUR time and take up a spot on the list. Schulz should have gone earlier. As our decison. Period.

Good Luck to him....but he's a front runner, and everyone at the new RFC need to win their own ball REGULARLY, as well as link up.

What a waste...
But some rats jump a sinking ship.
Some idiot rats jump a ship when in fact it's them sinking.

**** off Schulz.

Bring on the next boy who WANTS AND DOES get a kick for the RFC!!

Cheers

Ever considered that the fault may lie in YOUR system rather than the player in question?

Of course....
But that's our current system at the moment, however flawed.
And if some are getting a kick under it, then the only option left, other than changing the whole system (i.e: Wallace's tenure and his support staff) is to keep those getting a kick, and clear out those that don't. And one of them is Schulz.

That's it in a nutshell...

Indeed. But facilities are no excuse if that's what you're saying. Look at the kangaroos. They have nothing. Our recruiting has been abysmal. You need players with some talent to begin with.

We will gladly take him off your hands. I think part of the problem at Richmond is that both he and Richo were playing basically the same position. Richo's seniority robbed him of effectiveness because when your players looked up - they looked for Richo.

He can piss off as far as im concerned. Cost us a million dollar sponsorhip and the club owes him nothing. He owes the club big time and has failed. I think the RFC has been more than generous with him .

I thought we got a better sponsorship to replace it, the TAC were after some cheap publicity and looking to distance themselves from the AFL at the time no loss I say

He cannot kick Straight like Richo you can have him

I used to argue with Deliberate about Schulz, I wanted to give him a fair go.

Well he got a fair go. If Port want him then I am happy to trade!

Seeing Schulz sitting on the pine at Coburg....he looked like he belonged...just an average 2's player, not like a pissed Senior player.....thank God I didn't see Cleve in the Coburg 2's....I could not have watched that....that would have broken my heart. Not for Cleve, but that a Richmond Senior squad member was there. (Browny was there for a reason)

I think Schulz will kick 50 goals next year no matter who he's playing for. I'm sticking to my guns. Give the man one more year.
