If it's Merc winning the development war despite changes then I won't watch F1 because there's something seriously wrong going on

I bet that's already been fixed by MercedesWell it porpoises like a b*tch even on the small straights.
I'd be more uncomfortable than comfortable with that design!
How sure can they be those reduced side pods are actually going to cool the engine sufficiently for several races.
I guess it'll be same story.. Merc dominance and then just replace an extra engine every so often and win from the back on those occasions :-/
Wouldn't say some are within the rules, but that's for the FIA to gloss over like usual (DAS etc).Credit where credit is due, though, I like teams trying radical design changes (within the rules, obviously).
They only have finite time though as constructors champs. Unless they're breaking the rules like always.Surely they've put it through the wind tunnels and ran a billion computer simulations on it - but no substitute for the real thing. Will be interesting to monitor how it goes during testing, but all that matters is Round 1, really.
What a surprise, the FIA playing the nothing to see here card. Don't think Ross Brawn is too happy though. We thought 2022 would be a great reset, but it's still just favouring Merc like always.
