Might of been stroll after his punctureWas it Oscar? I thought it was one of the back markers that had boxed at some stage.

Is the point only for the driver? Or for the team as well?I thought it was Oscar, but I could be wrong. Not 100% certain about it.
If it was a backmarker, then it makes no sense for Mercedes to be taking the point away - as the bonus point is only awarded if the driver finishes in the top-10.

A team point might be more valuable than a driver point.

peeps who get that he's a paid employee of benz who have stood by him for yonks providing him with top cars that have enabled him to win so many world championships. ordinary on his part, but not surprising.Who cares
As good of a shot as he will get from what we can see its out of Doohan, Mick Schumacher, Bottas unless Tsunoda is going to Alpine?View attachment 2009890
Does Jack get his seat next year?
Is he still technically a Mercedes contracted driver ?I kinda feel for Ocon, because whilst he has a lengthy history of collisions with teammates, they are certainly not all his fault. Unfortunately for him, he's the common denominator, and so he's attracted the wrong of attention. It is said that the decision to leave Alpine was mutual, but it begs the question of where he goes next.
I don't know, but I suspect Mercedes might not want him anyway, he's not been a bad racer, but has he lived up to expectations? Has he done enough to warrant going to a quicker team? I'm not sure he has.Is he still technically a Mercedes contracted driver ?
Not sure it would be a good idea putting him and George together....
Yeah correct, Toto has been (and still is) Ocons manager since 2015.Someone on Reddit said Toto is his manager and if that is the case then he would know straight up if Merc want him or not.
Charles they are replacing me questionThat Charles one is a bit harsh now they have replaced Xavi as his race engineer.
I think he was StoefflsI never knew that Toto was also a driver manager
I'm thinking it's a direct result of his actions in Monaco.I wonder whether Ocon had wind of this before Monaco and that's why he attacked Gasly despite being told not to?
