Tbh I think they had to as the other option would be to ask RIC to swap positions which given everything happening re: RIC at the moment they probably decided to pit TSU early to save that “optic”

Yep following the same strategy as Ferrari/McLaren with extending the first stint, works if he isn’t losing too much time
