Should have left with Herbert. Hasn't been on the telecast in a while either, so no big loss.

Just need to ditch Danica Patrick (Jamie Chadwick was good, but her priority is probably still racing understandably), and find a new F1 nerd to replace Karun.

Surely the smart play is to move it to just before the COTA/Mexico/Brazil weekends.

Although not sure what the Canadian weather does at that time.

Yep, or at the very least bundle it with Miami before the European calendar starts. You could drive most of the gear from Miami to Montreal in a couple of days as well.

Bizarre as it sounds, I believe the Miami contract specifies that it has to be one of the first 6 races each year.

I've read Canada is pretty steadfast in its date each year as well.
Wonder if you could go something like below, based on 2025 dates - or shift everything back a week.
Aus (Mar 14-16)
Japan (Mar 21-23

Bahrain (Apr 4-6)
Saudi (Apr 11-13)

Baku (Apr 25-27)

Miami (May 9-11)
Canada (May 16-18) - Would mean it'd be 4 weeks earlier than usual though.

Then do a China/Singapore double header in Sept/October.
Logistically, that'd make a lot of sense. I am sure GP corporations have dates contracted in, but the above could work pretty well logistically.

Interesting to hear this as watching him on the grid in Brazil with Naomi and Simon Lazenby once the cameras stopped rolling it was clear how disinterested he was in his colleagues. So i wonder if he just doesn't get along with them.

Seems as mild mannered as a commentator as he was as a driver, but he was in a punk band called 'Sex Hitler and the Hormones', so am sure he's got another side to him. Was my favourite driver back in the day, so I respected his opinions on Sky and personally sad to see him go.
