This will be the thread for any rumours, or definite driver moves in the Formula 1 Season for next year.

If you hear anything, just post here.

What we all know:

Jenson Button has signed with BAR
Fernando Alonso has signed with Renault

Rumours I've heard:

Mark Webber to Jaguar
Cristiano Da Matta (from CART) to Toyota

Any one else got anything?

Good news for Mark, but sad news that Eddie Irvine won't be given a drive next year.

I've heard rumours that he's America bound, but that's all it is - rumours.

Great news for Mark Webber though, although what's gonna happen with the Jaguar team now that Jordan have the Cosworth contract - should be interesting.

Toyota have dumped both Salo & McNish for next year, with Panis[B.A.R] taking over & the other likely drive will be Brazilian Christiano Da Matta, the current CART series leader.

Bloody hell!

Would be good to see da Matta in F1, liked his driving style for a long time.

Should put da Matta and Montoya together. What a team.

Seems like a stupid move by Toyota to me. Has this been confirmed?

McNish I can understand, but Salo had done a good job for them this year.

Guess the positive is Panis is an excellent tester and should develop the car well.

Sauber have a strong team next year, Massa needed to take a chill pill. With Ferrari engines still Sauber should continue to pick up points.

Webber going to toyota is a better move than going to jaguar as the jag has plenty of improving to do.

I'd say that Toyota has far more improving to do than Jaguar. Remember that Irvine did get on the podium at Imola. Jaguar has been making improvements over the last half-a-dozen races and looks to be heading in the right direction. Toyota is going nowhere.

Toyota have consistently filled the second last row of the grid all season and even had one on the back row at the American GP.
