What an awesome day! It always felt nervy that the City equaliser was going to come.

Felt like Richards was sensational all game.
Called Richards our MOTM, was enormous, such a rock, has come a long way the last 2 years., nothing got past him.

Such a great day for Palace, will help transform the club, never been a hugely respected club, Parish & Glasnser are slowly changing that. I'm an old geeza, never thought I'd see us lift a trophy.

Congrats to Palace, it's nice to see a first time winner.

It's also great to see one of the big Manchester clubs go down in a final.

Is Pep finished ya reckon? I’m not writing him off just yet but I am starting to think this isn’t just a blip.

It happens to everyone in the end, even the greatest.
Rodri coming back will help but their midfield is just too old like ours 2 years ago. They need a clear out there

But yeah he'll need to adapt his tactics if he's not going to be left behind.

I guess we'll see next season. I think he has earned the right to start the rebuild if he wants to. i hope he can put aside his favouritism and see that we need to refresh the squad and he needs to change the way we play. teams are playing fast and direct, and i believe with the attacking players we have we can do that too. its just that the midfield is old now and they've very visibly lost a step. kdb can be as upset as he wants that he's not getting a new deal, he's not physically able to do what he did before.

realistically we have to move on from the guys who struggle to get on the park. as much as fans love a lot of these guys because they've been involved with such success, someone like stones isnt even playing 15 prem games. same as ake. everyone knows you need consistency with the back 5 and we havent had that this season. it says a lot too that gundogan has the 2nd most appearances across all comps, that stubbornness that pep has is his biggest strength and weakness.

Congrats Palace. Nothing better than silverware and when you go into season after season hoping rather than expecting it's great when it does come off.

Enjoy.

For us I don't think we were too bad until the last 20. I wanted Savinho off but Foden on the right is awful. KDB should have been hooked on the hour, when he's knackered the passing goes to shit.

Was nice to see Echeverry, hopefully we'll see a bit more in the next few games.
Playing some great football then suddenly v Southampton was dull. Pep goes back into his shell for this and wants all possession and no attack.
Honestly Doku is such a hindrance. Shoot sometimes mate.

Rodri won’t be the same though. ACL injury will take a while to get going

Can I interest you in two Manchester club losses in finals this week?

Get a hold of Wirtz and a midfield of him, Rodri and Reijnders is a massive upgrade.

Followed Palace for 50 years, this side is quite remarkable, defend outstandingly well but good enough to take our chances.

Twelve hours since conceding away, 4 months since an opposition player has scored against us away from home in the league. That's remarkable.

Chance to win it now.
57 yrs here my 17 yr old cousin took me to my 1st match against Brian Clough,s Derby in 69, Derby County and Palace were promoted to the old div1 and Derby went on to win 2 1st div titles in the next 4 seasons and Palace were relegated in that 4th season.

My cousin Graham and his family will be so happy with todays result.
