And lets clear one thing up once and for all. I'm not a chelsea fan. Actually barring the scousers and the scum, I find them the most loathsome of clubs.

I supported them for about 3 weeks when I was seven (around 1980). And that was before I even knew what football was. We were asked to buy a football kit for our sports lessons at school, and I asked my parents to get me a Chelsea one because I saw it on TV and liked it. Lucky they couldnt find one and came back with the England kit. A lucky escape if you ask me.

Here's to english warrior he's true blue, he's a chelsea man through and through, he's a yid so they say he tried to go for tottenham but he went the other way.

For a clinical striker, Anelka is a dreadful penalty taker.

Its funny, at City he was superb at pens. Didn't even matter if the keeper guessed the right way, he'd just blast it. Fast and right into the corner of the net, every time.

Him and Elano are the only penalty takers I've been able to watch without being worried they'd miss.

A bit rubbish now. Tries to place it more, gives the keeper a chance.

Yeah but I bet he took a proper run-up when taking penalties at City.

Looked lazy last night.

If he scores he is seen as a cool customer and a calm under pressure. It's the nature of a penalty shootout, whoever misses has bad technique, lazy etc., and whoever scores is great. Commentating in a penalty shootout is pointless.

I'm not sure if that's his usual run-up so he might have been lazy but it was a good save from Howard.

"From the centre line you walk straight to the penalty spot, and you're completely focused on your penalty... I tried to ruin [Ashley Cole's] concentration by colliding with him [as he made his way to the penalty spot]. The harassment was intentional." - Johnny Heitinga.

That was kind of depressing. Imagine how different our season would have been with The Hitz playing full time. To say he made a difference was the understatement of the century. Was involved in everything, scored a deadset ripsnorter for the first and in general made us look like a completely different side.

I hope he stays beyond this year. He owes us anyway. Demba Ba is also our best signing in years. Fantastic player

He's not that good.

Wait until he actually plays against a midfield.

You won't even notice him.

I hope he is as terrible as Darren Bent. Funny how you said awhile ago that a opinion formed about a player a few years ago isnt relevant because hes improved since then yet you feel free to judge a player like Hitz based on performances from many many many years ago. Hypocrite much

Plebs dont get called up to the Germany squad nowadays mate. Hes clearly improved since leaving the career grinder that is Aston Villa. Join the rest of us in 2011 please.

He was called up to the German squad before they were really good, then they started to become really good and where was he?

You've watched him play one game for West Ham against Barnsley and you're ready to penetrate him without consent.

Can't wait to see your mob relegated mate. Along with.... well what sort of valuation are you putting on 'The Hammer' 30 million?

Teams I'd like to se win the cup: Everton, West Ham and Man. City in that order.

The rest: Stoke. Arsenal, Manure, etc have treated the Cup with disdain fielding reserve teams for differing reasons. The three I mention have been trying. Who likes City but at least mancini plays his A team and although West Ham are owned by pornographer spivs I'd like to see Avram get to Wembley.

So much fail. He was called up to the Germany squad in August. Thats where he injured himself. Playing in a game for Germany... Ive seen him play for Schalke a few years ago and in the games for us in the pre season (played about 5 games overall and had 5 MOTM performances).

The Hammer wont be sold when we go do down. Why would we sell him for? Id say his worth is about 4 mill but youd be getting a bargain at that price
