Were we going to win back to back ??
I mean really - how hard is it to win back to back or multiples in short periods - VERY bleeding hard ! Geelong have proved that !

Only the best do - Hawks 80s, Lions the most recent.

So to those who went over the top with their booing and if it truly was a Hawk who poured beer intentionally on the players as Mitch has spoken of - you are an utter disgrace and if i was anywhere near you on Saturday night you would have copped the wrath of my dark side at the footy !
I even heard people throwing their memberships ? If this is true WTF have we become ?? I would prefer not to have 50K members, than to be seen as the scum that other clubs have - eg Richmond !

Bottom line is, we have clearly had reasons that meant backing up this year was made even HARDER and that is why we have looked so bad on occasion.
No doubt that was insipid what was dished out - but for those who have already forgotten the club providing one of the highlights of our supporting lives should get a grip of reality.

And FFS if our own continue to bag and question our superstar forward after a few mediocre efforts, i will truly lose faith in our family.

So in summary, don't be so quick to forget the hard road we have come from, and the full list of young stars we have that i have no doubt can get us back to the heights that we truly aspire for.

To be fair they weren't booing or throwing beer due to the result. It was the effort and commitment that would have incurred such a reaction.

I don't believe a collective 'we' is appropriate for the beer throwing but to answer your question regarding the booing yes it is appropriate. The team can expect our cheers and applauds at their successes and efforts but not trying or being perceived as not trying will obviously yield the opposite, i.e. boo-urns.

Thats a cop out, in the past 3 years we have risen up to the very top of the Ladder on and of the field, we have 1 bad year after we just won a premiership and these dumbshits boo and throw stuff and memberships at our players and our coach.

I dont accept any excuse what so ever for the disrespect they have shown our club, they are the sort of poeple that are only on board when we are on top, were the hell were they when we were down the bottom they were hiding away i suppose.

I am the 1st 1 to come in here and vent my anger but to do what thse fools have done is total disrespect and i would love to meet them face to face and see how tough they are becuase i think they are nothing but a bunch of coward $#$##@#@ wits...........

P.S. i,m not having a go at you, just saying how i feel about these tools.....

By the numbers
this year average forward score 90 last year 109
this year average defence score 96 last year 83

The team is 32 points behind last years effort.

When you consider the first nine games of last year in which the hawks won , 6 victories were less than 20 points! That would be 3 and 6 by this years team.

Well that's ok I differ in opinion.

I do a good job at work I expect to get praised (Never happens though lousy management -.-).

I do a poor job at work I expect to get reprimanded (Gee I wonder if this is a common occurence ).

You think these supporters that boo their team won't be out there the next week cheering and having their hearts on their sleeves again? Teams get taunted for kicking backwards despite the obvious reason for it.
