The argument "they think Gibson is better" is a derrrr no s**t one. Of course they think Gibson is better. Every player they pick they think is better than one they don't.

Brodie Smith is better too. But it would be stupid to pick Smith 2-3 months early when he's miles away from being match ready. Being better is only part of the equation.

Gibson didn't suddenly become any fitter or better just because Crouch and Brown are out. What changed is we became more desperate.

We're scared about the line up we're putting out there as it is, let alone adding another newbie.

We're rushing Gibdon even though we've already destroyed several players by bringing them back early this season and watching them reinjure themselves (Sloane, M Crouch, Walker, Knight).
