Seriously seems like change for changes sake.

Did people seriously suggest shit like your friends adding friends, friends goining groups and fan pages to be put on your news feed? It's completely unnecessary and I don't really see the point to be honest.

But we don't pay for facebook, so we don't really have the right to bitch about them changing it.

Chin up, remember how many people bitched about it when they changed the last facebook? Everyone got over it within a month. And this change isn't even that dramatic, give it 2 weeks and people will have already forgotten what it was like.

The updates aren't even in order anymore. It's showing me updates from two weeks ago instead of updates from the last day or so.

Live feed is everything, friends making friends, joining groups and fan pages, wall posts, status', photos.

News feed doesn't have friends making friends, joining groups or fan pages.

But it's weird cos news feed seems to choose random wall posts and status'...but they're also out of order. Like ones from Wednesday and then one below it is from 12 hours ago?

Think it needs some tinkering...

That'd be the news feed. Click on live news feed to get updates from now.

Don't know what they were thinking with these changes.

I can't think of a feasible reason why the news feed isn't in chronological order. Live feed is just what we had but merged with all the useless crap they hid in the "highlights" bar.

The other thing that pisses me off is the fact it no longer tells you if there's new posts.

You can change it back by on the left hand side dragging "status updates" to the top above "news feed" after you have expanded the list by clicking more.

Once you've dragged Status Updates to the top, click that. That'll make it the default one that comes up.
