I really want to as after every time I check it I think what was the point I don't want to even see any of this shit. But then its hard to keep in contact with some people having facebook let alone without it.

I'm actually trying to get back into calling and texting. feels better.

Told Vodafone to cut me off data, only going to use internet at library or wifi places.

Fbook and apps takes up way too much headspace.

They keep all your info though. I deactivated mine in about 2009, but for some reason when I started using Spotify it reactivated my account, and it was like I'd never stopped using it. I had to go through the whole process of knocking it on the head again.

Maybe so, but if this is a concern of yours, you can still manipulate people into believing what you want them to believe. Post stuff that you want people to know, instead of the truth. Just have to be smart about it.

The complete opposite of what this joker was doing. A mate of mine was telling me about a guy he worked with, let's call him Mike. Mike was forever taking days off work with all sorts of medical ailments and illnesses. Some bordering on the bizarre and downright ridiculous, but Mike ran with it. Not long before Christmas, Mike's girlfriend posted on facebook about what a great guy Mike is and that he was willing to take days off work every time she asked him to. She tagged him in this post. Needless to say, many of Mike's fellow employees saw the post. I just hope Mike's girlfriend now pays all his bills, as he no longer has a job to go to.

I used to have a young coworker (20-21ish) who was always taking sickies too, then posting on facebook/snapchat what he was actually doing. Kids these days have no idea how to pull a fake sickie.

i cringed so bad when i was deactivating and it had pictures of my friends saying ''such and such will miss you''
FB really try to coax you into staying lol

yes I'm sure that girl from high school I never spoke to will be shattered

****s sake

Latest effort from FB is every few days if i post a reply on someones wall , whatever i post in chat ( doesn't matter who to ) my post in the chat window goes up on the wall i'd previously posted on.
Then it won't fix itself until i refresh the page.

Only a matter of time until i say something shit and the whole world sees it.
Searched help on FB....****EN USELESS

hahaha wow - I'd read on bigfooty before never to read the facebook comments, and without an account that was an easy thing to do

but some stories about on there about the Australia Day Lamb ad and the ANZAC marches that have apparently been cancelled in the Snowy Mountains are an absolute goldmine for knuckle dragging button mashers

I thought some on bigfooty were bad, but wow...

I liked your post purely because you referenced "knuckle dragging button mashers".
It's as if you know half my friends list perfectly......

at least with Bigfooty there is anonymity so there is some degree on shame...people on FB post some repulsive and embarassing comments proudly under the banner of their full name, and usually only a click away from seeing where they live

Those "[insert city] have a whinge groups are a great smorgasboard of dropkicks.
