Are your kin folk Fijian Indian mate?

Yeah, mother was born in Suva, and my family used to live in Fiji way before I was born. Still have relatives in Ba, Nadi, Lauktoka, Suva. Most of the owners of the shops on main street Nadi are from the same community as me.

Only been on FB for about a year and don't really use it that often. It has been good to re-connect with old friends I had fallen out of contact with.

One minor reason I don't have it is there are certain people I don't want to reconnect with.

I give people about 3 chances when it comes to sharing blatantly false articles/posts, scams or 'motivational' pictures (particularly if they are just shitty text like 'always be yourself').

After that, it's 'Hide from newsfeed' time.

It's really helped me to stop being annoyed and judgemental of my stupid friends/family/collegues.

There's a girl from high school on my friends list who is full into conspiracy theories (e.g. did man really walk on the moon, 9/11 was an inside job etc) and I only keep connected with her so I can feel superior.

I have a cousin on facebook who in statuses often uses "whom" incorrectly instead of "who". I have no problem with people using "who" instead of "whom", but when she says "whom" where "who" is actually correct I think she is just trying to sound smart. She is not.

pretty much ignore what people put up on FB these days, mainly use it as source of news feeds and / or articles from different things im subscribed to, "cracked" is one of the best.

I've often thought about a Bruce fake account that goes around commenting on stuff with "You just get the feeling that if they can get some more photos of Pluto we'll definitely have a better understanding of it."
