So, so, SO much more easier to interact with people.

The layout is better as well.

So in effect it is exactly the same thing, just easier.
I watched 'The Social Network' and he was going on about how it was nothing like Myspace and all that jazz. Seems like it is exactly the same just more user friendly...

they are pretty similar but facebook has a much easier and user friendly design.

i never get a myspace page and probably the two biggest reasons i didn't was 1) the user had complete control over colour and background photos so you got some absolutely horrific looking web pages. cop enough of them and your head and eyes start hurting. and 2) most information for one user is on one page so a page could go on for ****ing ages.

EDIT: an example of said myspace page - http://www.myspace.com/542631648 - which is bad but not even close to the outrageously bad ones you'll see. it just happened to be the first i clicked on that looked shit.

Well I just went to my myspace account and I've deleted it. Haven't updated it in over a year, is says I'm still in a relationship and that I'm 20 lol

Surely if you're between the ages of 15-22 and live in Melbourne you would have heard of Jess Fitts hahaha. I remember she had close to 5,000 - which was the limit - but then went on a mass deleting spree. Luckily I survived haha!! :D

Now she has over 3,000 though. I guess living in the same suburb as her helps. :thumbsu:

Usually it's club promoters/festival promoters that have the most friends as you at them to get tickets or find out information or things along those lines.

Yeh I know Jess Fitts, you live in Black Rock then do you?

Not to mention that users could choose a song to automatically play once the page loads.

Novelty wore off after about three seconds when every page you went to you were ear-r*ped by a new, more awful song than the last.

A truly horrible status from a girl 'friend' on facebook.

For Valentines day.
1. If u think im pretty, hot or good looking. Poke Me
2. If u consider me a close friend. Comment
3. If u want to give me a hug. Like
4. If u have ever had a crush on me send a smiley. Inbox
...............5 .If u wanna be my Valentine send me a love heart. Inbox me

For the record this girl is "In a relationship"

I used to be a facebook whore but i've cut down a lot. My iPhone tells me if there're any updates worth noticing and, bar chat, I try to keep fb at a minimum. For example, it's not in the background atm as it usually is

I have 200 friends and speak to probably 10, it's the facebook disease.

How could you possibly know 600 people. Surely you jest.
I have 825 *facepalm*. probably talk to 150 for a variety of circumstances in a year, if that.

Can't be ****ed deleting them either. I hate facebook:rolleyes:

Those sites which allow people to make their own thing to be 'liked' are the bane of Facebook. I've never seen so many terrible jokes and terrible attempts at being deep in my life.

"I'm selfish, impatient and a little insecure. I make mistakes, I am out of control and at times hard to handle. But if you can't handle me at my worst, then you sure as hell don't deserve me at my best."

Honestly, I'd struggle without Facebook. Absolutely love it. If I'm home I'll be on it a little bit, but like some have said, just have it open in a tab and I stay online so if someone wants to talk to me, I'll talk. Also, you gotta love the stalking side of it whether it's girls from work, girls from your high school or whatever. I'd say if I'm home I'm on it for 2-3 hours a day, on/off and if I'm at work or out I'll check it on the iPhone.

As for friends, I think I have just over 700. I probably know close to 600 of them but would really only speak to less than 100. Most are people from my high school, primary school, Tafe, work or people I've met on nights out.

Back in the days of MySpace and MSN though I rarely used either. Simply wasn't a fan.

Do you go outside?

I like using Facebook because I find it one of the best ways to communicate with people. The fact I know when events are on is really helpful when reuniting with old friends. I love the simplistic of it as I used to get tired of Myspace being a competition of who had the best looking page.

*should actually point out that Marilyn Munroe was pretty damn cool, and the quote is actually quite good, but seriously, if I read it again from another bitchy, whiny FB whore, I'm going to scream.

That's actually one of the better ones. Which gives an indication of how ****ing terrible the bad ones are. :o

some people take facebook too seriously. If you work in a large company or government department, it is possible to be on talking terms with that many people.
