I have people currently writing moppy anniversary posts on Facebook, directed at their partner. Then their partner replies saying moppy shit back, then it keeps going. Why don't they just ******* say it to each other instead of on Facebook so everyone else has to see it? Even a phone call would suffice surely?

That ticks me off quite a bit considering when relationships just start. 'Nar I love you more' 'Nar I LOVE you more' then i found the unfriend button and the joys of not seeing their soppy crap. They broke up within a month.

So I got back on Facebook, only for uni, I created a fake last name. And I've only added people at uni.

I only had about 90 friends previously, and I'm using a new email address. My old facebook email address wasn't even a gmail account. The thing I don't understand is I've got three people with no friends in common, that I knew from old acquaintances and my brother coming up on my suggestions.

I have no idea how the **** this is happening. The only thing I can think of is, its picking up people that are looking at my profile. I haven't looked them up at all.

My phone contacts wouldn't contain the old acquaintances either, so its not as if Google has shared my number with facebook or anything. This is really bothering me.

Facebook has remembered my mobile number, which was the same. Stored all my friends with that phone number in the past. Then is now suggesting those old friends.

I only wanted to use this for uni, not have every ****ing tom dick and harry prowling around.

Suggestions come up based on your email contacts. Any email you have sent or received using the email account you associate with your facebook account, if the person associated with that email address is on facebook, it will be put on the friend suggestions list.

Thats what I'm trying to say. This Gmail account was never EVER used with any of those contacts.

It makes me think they have a database linking my mobile number, to all friends in the past, with old accounts that used the same mobile number.

I'm only using it for uni. it was so difficult to communicate with people via the uni forums. And the instant chat is a good feature.

I have very little personal information on there.

There are still 3-5 suggestions in the list that I know nothing about. No idea who they are, or why they show up. I hope its not if they've been to your page several times, or I'm ****ed I check up on people all the time.
