Does anyone have parents on Facebook who continually annoy them with check-ins, liking pathetic groups and writing lame depressing status'?

Does facebook track where you go? A month or so back some girl came up in 'people you may know', no mutual friends. I did the old creepy random add, but then bailed and cancelled it. Now she's appeared again, but now has a mutual friend, the environment club at university. Which asks the question does facebook track where you go and then suggest friends that way? I don't have anything university related in my profile, such as in the education section.

combined with google searches, I have no doubt that it collects data and attempts to match you with others with similar data/search entries

but i can't prove this assertion in any way, shape or form

This explains to me why , on my F B, I had another group mentioned " to join group" that I had been looking at on another forum. I agree with the above ^^. Doesn't worry me though , as I think we are being tracked one way or another all the time .

Certain chicks when they put weight on, the first few pounds goes on thier bosoms. As this happens, the generally flatter chested ones break out into a selfy mania wearing low cut tops.

All those movies that predicted the future 20-30 years ago, didn't predict this Facebook phenomena.

Hanging crap on your mates about their mum will be so easy in 10 years time when all you have to do is look up their fb pics of mumsy skankin' it up at big day out/stereosonic.

Our future children won't be on FB. Or computers at all. They will communicate through holographic images that they conjure up through an iChip in their brain.

I think I've been of Facebook for about a year now.

Haven't missed it one bit. Much better off in the long run, as I had a stupid habit of making the occasional drunken post.

I must admit that it's improved my social life not having it- when I see a lot of acquaintances, they don't assume to know everything & I can actually talk to them and ask things. You know, the people you see twice a year? Now I don't have to do that "so, I saw you had another child/changed jobs/got married/bought a house/etc..." And there's never the "oh, that's right, we're Facebook friends"

Hadn't though about it for about 6 months TBH, until I saw this thread. Also, now I have much more time to focus on healthier pursuits like watching pr0n.

Odds on Tezza is back in the picture within 48 hours. Just watched a similar debacle go down on my feed with a good ol' bogan Facebook bust-up...with kids involved!
