There was a bogan with a huge bald patch and horrible crusty thick sheets of dandruff on the tram yesterday. Had a jetstar tagged carry on bag with him. The only reason I noticed him is because he started swearing at a clearly developmentally disabled man who was asking to get through the crowd. Anyway the reason I mention this is because as he's getting off the tram he announced 'happy new year everyone, year of the collingwood magpies'. In terms of stereotyping a collingwood fan he would have filled the bingo card in that two minutes alone.

3 months ago I took my birthday off Facebook. Long story short, I got ZERO happy birthday messages. But I feel better.

i hate that. "friends" who wish me a HB, despite the date being removed from sight. usually its mrs norf who starts it, then as you said triggers everything else.

On the flip side........anyone wish friends a HB on facebook? I had debate with soemone about this, as she enjoys doing this (makes her feel good shes doing something "nice". i said i just send them a private text as it's about the bday person, not the giver. she did not enjoy that.
