I'll be there too. I presume you guys will be near the cheer squad?

The weather forecast says mostly cloudy with a 20% chance of rain. Hopefully it stays dry, there are hardly any seats under cover. Would tolerate getting soaked if we win (r19 2010 :thumbsu:), but Adelaide have been in ripping form so far and I can't see us getting up :(

Nah I'm in the Northern Terrace. I rang the club the other day asking for tickets near our members and they said I'd have to get them through Ticketmaster.

I was at Round 19 2010 too. Very tough game to sit through - constant rain, hard slog all day, very tense - was very satisfying when we won.

It was just before our downward spiral in 2010 but still a great win.

Also I'm disappointed to see Wallis dropped.

He showed some improvement last week and we need to keep giving him games to see what he can do.

Looking forward to this game, and pleased it is on Saturday night.

Marko's nemesis is Kennedy, otherwise he plays well on other players, so think he will not get easily beaten this week.

Griff out was a huge out, and his run in the middle will be needed. We will also be a lot quicker with DJ in the guts.

Minson will have influence on this game, now that he does not face the twin towers.

I am picking the dogs in a tight one - NAB Cup as we should all remember well:rolleyes: does not mean a lot.

I'd start DJ as the sub, I think with our current team there is only room for 2 of Sherman, DJ, Tutt so he'll have to impress with the chance given.

As most I'm disssapointed with no Cordy but I feel he'll be given his chance soon enough and will have a good crack at holding a place in the 22.

If the selectors can put Addison in the back-pocket then surely they can put Cross there. Cross is just as slow but is a much better player. Then we could shuffle around the mid-field a bit and put in the ephebians Wallis or Zeph, this would give us a bit more mid-field pace and forward penetration.

DJ hasn't impressed me yet, seems to lack a few tricks such as evasive skills, but I hope that he proves me wrong.

I also am disappointed that Cordy can't get a game.

I am worried about this game, but i still think we can win. Griffen and Cooney IMO are the X factors here. If these 2 guys can fire for us, i think we will be with a red hot chance to win. Cooney has ripped apart Adelaide, but this was Cooney of old, so who knows how he will fair this time around.

I am just praying that our forward line works its self out, because last week, it almost made me cry with the thought of us reverting back to our old style of bombing it in hope, long to no one! If we do that again tomorrow, i will probably turn the TV off.

Dogs can win this one, believe it or not! When I initially looked at this game after our flogging by the Eagles, I thought that we would be in for a hiding, but I watched Adelaide beat Gold Coast that are as bad as GWC, if not worse, so that was no big deal. Adelaide will take us easy this weekend, in front of their crowd of morons and if we are smart we can get under their guard, silence the mob and win by 30 points. Macca has to get them to run, run and run, Jones to kick straight, the boy from Bairnsdale not to cramp up and Lake to work his way in to his game and not try to take a speccy and fall flat on his face.

Higgins might be in for a blinder, Adelaide will suit him.

I agree the game is winnable, but I assure you we wouldn't be taking you lightly. It's only round 2 and every game will count.

I fail to see how we will suit Higgins, he will want plenty of space to be his damaging best, which should be the opposite of our gameplan which should be cutting his decision time and hitting him hard.

The Adelaide crowd will have no more morons than your average AFL crowd.

Reckon you guys are a sneaky chance if you get off to a good start.
Omitted a backman for a forward which is interesting. Do you think you were too back heavy last week or there's no one else to come in?
Also surprised Wallis is out seeing as Smith couldn't run out the full game. Will he just start sub this week?

He probably had to play a far more intense game last week. With the inclusion of Griffen and Djerkurra there should be a bit more relief in the middle.

True. Any thoughts on the extra forward inclusion. Or will Djerkurra just play in the midfield?

DJ is a midfielder and I'll never quite get where people get that he's a small forward. His best games at AFL level last year were running through the middle and he had a great year in the VFL as a midfielder last year.

I think I thought he played mainly forward because that's just where I remember him playing. Strange.
So you've just included an extra midfielder that's normal. Who do you think will be the subs then?

Didn't see any of the game last as I was in the middle of nowhere, however I've found civilisation here in Bangkok and located a number of bars showing the game live.

Don't really like our chances but you never know. Go dogs!

He's a midfielder. As for subs I'm not really sure at the moment. Grant was unexpected last week.
