I reckon wrestling is all faked

Look, conspiracy theories are all bullshit. Call me when you want to talk about real, proven government subversion - like how they're drugging everyone with fluoride in the water supply.[/troll]
Indeed. But is it a bad thing? Or a good thing?

I believe Nelson Mandela was both a terrorist, and one of the greatest human beings of the 20th century.

I know for a fact that there is a vast global conspiracy to prevent me getting free hot dogs. Everyone in the world is in on it except me and my wife.

You can't prove otherwise.

The best con job I have ever seen our leaders pull on us, they have did in full view of everybody, I offer you the invasion of Iraq. No evidence of WMD, no mandate from the UN, no real reason to invade whatsoever when you think about it. A few specious arguments about involvement in terrorism is hardly a reaction to overrun a sovereign power, no matter how nasty you think they are.
And the single most amazing thing about it is not only did most people sit back and do nothing about it, they re-elected all those who planned and executed this con job.
To this day it still has me gob smacked.

I'd be more comfortable if the Australian government had told the truth. We're in it because America is in it.

We all know its true anyway.

UFOs.
There has to be something or someone else out there.
I would love to know what secrets they are hiding in Area 51.

I call bullshit on UFO/aliens why would an "intelligent life form" travel a few billion miles in their craft just to abduct some inbred hick in southern usa, would be like me walking from Melbourne to Perth just to buy a big mac.

You should at least get that in a meal.

Interesting way of looking at it though. Makes some sense.

The problem with that statement is that you can label any view (opposing the "norm") a conspiracy theory regardless of how improbable some of those "norms" (for lack of a better word) are.

Mandela was hyperbolic. Most of his supporters don't even know of his perils, it's wank.

Then again, I'm wank as ****.

9/11 wasn't an inside job just a bunch of pissed of muslims. The US cover up over 9/11 is that they could have stopped it but they were too incompetent.

Conspiracy theories are fun. Great to talk about and think about and they satisfy a persons desire to demonise those that have control over many of the factors that affect their lives. It is easy to stumble into believing them. But we don't need conspiracy theories to know that there are some silly's out there working hard to control where our money goes and what we think.
Just look at COINTELPRO, Operation Northwoods, MKUltra etc.

I firmly believe that the world is just a simulated reality or cyberspace created by sentient machines to pacify and subdue the human population, while their bodies' heat and electrical activity are used as an energy source. So who gives a crap why the US invaded Iraq and whether the moon-landing was legit, it's all a dream anyway!

I thought they were doping the ice cream?
Hmm.

Oswald did not act alone!

The truth behind the JFK assassination is being withheld somewhere, by someone - perhaps Sam Worthington - I don't know, but I don't buy the official verdict that Oswald was a lone nut.

There were sceptics around when the US claimed to have killed Osama Bin Laden. One thing that was said was that the mission was faked and Bin Laden was either already dead, not even there or it just didnt happen. Here is an interview with one of the SEAL 6 guys who was there.

He has written a book about that night and what happened. In this interview he is in disguise and using a false name. No matter what your opinion this interview is worth a look if you're interested in this topic.

After the interview, FOX in the US published this mans name an address. It was only published very briefly before it was taken down but it is too late. The mans real name is Matt Bissonnette and he lives in Alaska. Probably not what he wanted but surely he would have known that publishing a book was not the best way of remaining anonymous.

There’s definitely some apparent holes in the story (as you would expect in a matter of such importance and security)... but if you research them all properly, the Oswald lone gunmen version makes far, far more sense than anything that anyone else has managed to come up with.

I reckon there were some things covered up that will one day be revealed... but not fundamental things, and I reckon it was probably done in the national interest of the USA, primarily to protect the country from itself.

I don’t think Cuba was “officially” involved, but perhaps Oswald was a far bigger communist “sympathiser” than we know. I guess what I’m saying is... say had George W Bush taken over instead of LBJ, he would have invaded Cuba on a hunch, like he did with Iraq. Which had worked out really well.

There is the Vietnam angle, but I don’t buy that.
