Morris, who played 253 matches at AFL level, which included winning the Flag in 2016 with the Western Bulldogs, joins the Lions as Development Coach.

The former All Australian retired at the end of 2019 after a decorated 15 year playing career with the Bulldogs, before transitioning into the role of their Development Coach in 2020.

Morris will work alongside a new-gigged coaching team at the Lions, with former Forwards Coach Jed Adcock

He was indeed. Maybe I'm old fashioned but wouldn't think having two coaches coaching the same group of players would do a heap for team cohesion. Suppose it is probably standard in the AFL now though.
