Ahmed Fahour, Daniel Grollo and Andy Penn is an impressive ticket. It will be interesting to see who they want out from the current board. I would assume Pratt will leave the board but still help pull the strings and support the club financially.
 
Hope Pratt stays for another few years. His past 12 months have been sensational. He's all action and little talk. He wanted the best administrators in the AFL, so he got them, He wanted a new coach, so he got one. He wanted the best player in the AFL, so he got him. He wanted to improve the Blues support staff so he did. He wanted to improve the training facilities, so he has. He wanted to get more sponsors on board so he did. Big decisions made fast from the top, has injected confidence throughout our great club. Pratt makes other presidents look like part-time amateurs :)

Hard to compare Dick and George's input.

Dick was paying for players in brown paper bags as far back as Johnston & Buckley though. He help bank roll Jack's entire rien and that cash provided us a number of flags.
 
I think it would be brilliant that Fahour takes over, only to show all those cowardly anti-semenites that have been saying things about Pratt and making those racist, underhanded comments like calling Judd , Judda$.

A big F.U to those lousy anti-Semites/anti-Jewish people, most of whom are Collingwood and Essendon supporters! :eek:

I don't think the Judda$ comments are antisemitic but actually are a link of Judd with Judas, who was a Christian figure, apparently because Judd is supposed to have betray someone. Although the idea that he's betrayed someone still leaves me scratching my head. My only conclusion is that in their mind Judd has betrayed them and their own personal wet dream of having Judd play for them.

But if we're going to discuss religion, it will be a great thing for the club to be able to say that we're the first to have a Muslim president.

Exactly my point. We mite even have to draft HOULI! Actually he's already on our team, he plays at half-back and seems to like kicking it to Fev, but will never win us an games!:D
 
I dunno, I just feel as though alot of the hard work has now been done and the current Board and Directors deserve the credit for at least making us look credible again.

New Directors with business clout will always be viewed favourably, but where were these guys when we had no cash, players, and little hope?

Busy running one of the biggest corporations in Australia?

Besides we all know that Smorgan never asked for help from anyone so there's no point playing the blame game with our future President. That period is done, lets move on to the bright future ahead.

There's no blame game, my point is that the guys running the shop this year deserve some credit. In my eyes this recent year has been the restoration, I hope others come in to build on this and get us back to the top in financial terms but we should remember who was there when our backs were against the wall.
 
Fahour is a joke. He started off being in the right place at the right time in the corporate world. His last 2 postings have been a disaster. He is a man of extravagence that doesn't know what he is talking about

Look at the NAB share price since he has taken over

Fahour taking over will be a disaster for the carlton football club
