The boys are going HARD! And why not, we've broken a 44 year drought:). Almost all the players look like they haven't slept yet and there's still more piss to be sunk, that's for sure!

First week of pre-season training is gonna be a vicious bastard to the boys though...

Good luck to the boys there on holidays from monday so i'd think they would temper there celebrating a little....you would think or not :p:D.

If you can recall previous premiership (geez i live that word) sides i think they would've went hammer & tong for atleast a couple of weeks.
It will be interesting to see how motivated they will be when they come back from 6 weeks off !?
All premiers say it....."we'll have no hangover" but i hope it's right because with our side we deserve atleast another one maybe two before bombers time is up !!
Finally apart from the notables eg Hawkins, Prismall, Lonergan,Varcoe (apologise for any missed out)...has our two's vfl premiership side got players that will step up next season straight away and keep the ball rolling given a hard pre-season and natural improvement and development.

I think we have a lot of options. I say every year that Tenace can step up. this year is no different. Djerkurra, Davenport and Bedford could play some game next year though Bedford need to put on 5-6 kg over summer to be considered. Prismall is a good chance to become a regular as could Hawkins and Varcoe. Lonergan is likely only to be backup for a strong backline but may squeeze in for half a dozen games.

I think D.J, Byrnes, Callan, Playfair, S.Hunt, Gardiner will all be overtaken if they remain on the list.

Bedford is a rookie. I picked Tenace as the big improver for 2006, was pretty annoyed when he failed to show anything. Hopefully next year is different! My tip for next year is for Gamble to get more game time, he's a clever player. Especially if any of Chappie, Stokes or Johnno spend time on the injury list.
