If she's employed for clicks but barely anyone reads her inconsequential articles then it's not surprising she's been shown the door. She didn't just have a non-centrist position, she relies on her vulgarity to be controversial. Clicks or not, Fairfax might view as damaging the brand.

Bolt tries to dress things up in a more articulated manner, while Clem goes the nuclear option basically 100% of the time. But I believe they just tailor to their audiences.
