Is the art of barracking or whatever you call it for wrestling pretty heavy on displaying action shots or attitude shots of the wrestlers?

'cause if so, the only alternative I can see to disallowing it, is manually (moderators doing it) policing over-use of pictures.

Definitely not.

In the 2 odd years i've been here, i've wanted to post pictures on the WWE board twice.

Once in a while members want to post a picture of something, rather than spending 3 paragraphs describing it.

Enabling the img code wouldn't do any harm, but given the attitude of those on high, it doesn't look like it's going to happen.

Oh well.

In actual fact the original change was made as people were posting huge numbers of pictures. At the time this was a drag on bandwidth - also the images were all copyrighted - so images on the WWE board were turned off.

Must have happened in the very early days of Bigfooty as the img code has been disabled ever since i've been here (some time in 2001).

That about sums up my thoughts about the mods on this issue

I think the pictures should be allowed. After all, anyone that has the mentality to enjoy such a sham probably can't read

What makes it a sham? Come on big man, explain yourself and what makes it different to other forms of entertainment such as the movie industry etc?

This is the sort of intelligent response we expect from WWE losers... get back in your caravan!

My intelligent response is all Applegate's reply deserves.

You two act like you have wrestling phobia. Does watching grown men in tights turn you on in ways you don't want to be turned on?

Do you have some sort of unusual fetish that you helplessly lose control of when you see a wrestling photo?

Or were you that little kid that King Kong Bundy squashed on Saturday Night Main Event all those years ago?

I think its funny that a fan of an entertainment medium without morals or integrity complains about fairness and equality. Anybody else see the irony?

Well, to be fair, Edge could turn any man, right? ;)

Have you seen how hard they work ? Obviously not.
Also what makes you think that there are more steroids in it than there are in other sports such as athletics, boxing and body building????

Yeah I am serious. So what if it is not a sport, wrestling isnt a sport either (its sports entertainment which I should have said earlier) but what leads you to believe that there are more steroids in wrestling than body building??? It is entertaining and is the most watched show on foxtel, if you dont like it then fair enough. Everyone likes different things. But there is no denying it has a large following as evidenced by packing colonial last year and selling out in half an hour at rod laver this year.

Here's a solution, how about just posting a link to the picture? Rather then posting it on the board, then there will be no over-use of pictures, but the person that wants to post the picture will have to add it to a website of their own, or whatever. Seems better then having the posts filled with pictures, and stuff.

How about starting up your own wrestling web site?
