Under utilising Pau Gasol is such a crime. the guy is less than two seasons removed from being a top 3 power forward in the game. Up until Dirk won the ring in 2011, it was neck and neck between him and Gasol.
He doesn't have mental part of the game to lead like Nowitzki, but he's more talented across the board and still one of the game's most complete players. I always cream watching him handle the ball for a bloke his size.

go back to 2010-11 and there were legit debates as to who was the better player. LA had added a couple more championships and the world was high on Pau.
I didn't agree with the call, but it was being made. When Dallas won the ring it stopped.

Sorry but I dont remember anyone ever making any such call. So what if Pau won two championships on Kobe's back. Dirk is easily the better player. Like, easily!

No he wasnt. Dirk led his team. Pau was a sidekick, living off easy shots as Kobe kicked out of double and triples. Pau Gasol is a good player. Dirk is a HOFer. Massive difference.
