First win I've seen in these colours all year.

Was on Slime Climb yesterday and the guy who got there first turned around and tried to knock me off. I just jumped over him and got the qualification but then spectated him. He ended up grabbing a guy and ****ing himself up and slipped into the slime. Could have been 1st place but got eliminated instead.

On the exact same round a guy in a toucan costume tried the same thing and again ended up only eliminating himself.

Knocking someone off and reducing the number in the next round might slightly increase your chance of winning the crown, but just by not going over the line you increase the chance that you won't even make it to the next round yourself. Even when you do eliminate someone it's not going ot be anyone decent anyway.

Yeah, but the change to make team games only if the teams can be even isn't working and the spectate party members first change didn't make it into the patch. Jump Showdown is back though.

Played just one game yesterday, made it to the Hex A Gone final, down to the last 2, I'm a few levels up with a boat load of tiles left, my TV decides to switch in and out of Game Mode going black for a full second, I fall and lose. Not happy Jan.

Good to see Jump Showdown is back.

This was the first final I ever got and I had no idea what I was doing or what the shaking ground meant and was just focused on jumping the bar as the platform just dropped under me in like 10 seconds. Now that I know what that game is and would probably be ok at it I've never gotten it again in a final.

All I seem to get in finals now is that bloody hexagon one, with a few others sprinkled in every now and then. Still can't get my first win. Lots of finals but always stuff it up somehow.

Yeah, it went away for a while because people had found they were able to just drop and hang onto the side of a platform and just wait there indefinitely. You should get it a bit more now that that is fixed and it is back in the rotation.

Jump Showdown is the most skill-based final.
Hex-a-gone is a mix of skill and luck. Skill and practice will help you get down to the last 2-3 but you can also fall through tiles or end up with a player taking you out with them.
Fall Mountain is almost all luck. You need to have an almost perfect run but even then you might have to dodge balls and someone else doesn't so they win.
Royal Fumble is just a steaming pile. I've grabbed people several times on my screen without getting their tail.

Yeah, grabbing on that is pretty pointless. You either have to let go so you can jump and so can they or more likely you just take both of you down.

Sometimes that is a party though ensuring that one of them gets the crown, but still.

4 teams of 6?
3 teams of 8?
2 teams of 12?

nope... Tip Toe... gotta uneven it up for a team game first
