Just had a win in fall ball 14-0! Those poor bastards were helpless, was 5 on 4. Won the royal fumble game after too.

Got another win on jump showdown, came down to the last two, was keeping my distance until the other guy tried to grab me so I grabbed him and he got flung off. Don't even feel bad.

Edit: just followed this up with the easiest possible win on jump showdown, just as it got down to the last two platforms with 5 others, they all fell off at the same time.

Grabbing seems a low percentage strategy to me. Yeah, there have been times where someone has grabbed me and it has screwed me up but rarely has it improved their situation and often it has straight out eliminated them.

Had a couple of classics last night. Block party and a guy grabs me I jump out of it and he staggers back only to get cleaned out by the block and swept into the slime. Then a few games later on Jump Showdown and it was down to the final 2. We're getting into a bit of a rhythm as the bar is getting faster and I'm getting ready to settle in and outlast him. Then he comes up and grabs me, again I just jump out of it, he staggers and gets yeeted by the bar for my win.

Have only ever made the final twice and both times got eliminated just as I figured out what we were supposed to be doing. Would be great to have some sort of offline practise mode for the kinds of games you get so few opportunities to actually play.

My biggest gripe is the control system. I get that it's the whole point of the game that everyone is slow and easily bumpable but it frustrates me more than it should. The way if the landing isn't perfect your dude will just roll around like a frankfurt until he falls off a ledge. The responsiveness of the jump button is shithouse too. Took me many games to train myself to push jump a step before I normally would in games because otherwise I just go straight over the edge.

got my first win yesterday, such a grind.
ive actually got my whole family into this game and they've never played anything in their lives and are now wanting to take over my ps4!
a tip to hold your tail in the tail tag is to get a tail and sit in the corner with your tail behind you, other players cant see it and think you havent got one!
also playing defence in the ball games is really important.
developers are sitting on a gold mine with this game, cant wait to see where they take it!

Yeah i always try to play the goal keeper roll in the ball games cause noone else does. Makes a huge difference

Hex-a-gone and Fall Ball are the bane of my existence. Either Fall Ball is the penultimate round and I'm team yellow and we lose 0-113, or I get Hex-a-Gone last and I panic when other people start running laps around me and I drop to the bottom. I've finished second a few times but never won it.

I wish Jump Showdown was more prevalent. At least then I am only fighting the weird magnetic camera that seems to orient itself away from the bars.

So played slime climb in round 3 where only me and 1 other guy actually got to the end so we had the tail grab finale. He started with it but thought it was a good idea to taunt me and I was able to grab it when he did that. Held on for like the longest 50 seconds haha. First win!

From 120 non-final rounds I went 94-26 (78.33%)

In solo only rounds I was 73-17 (81.11%) and team games 21-9 (70%). Finals sucked as I went 1-12 (7.69%).

of the 120 rounds, I got Door Dash 14 times (13-1) and Dizzy Heights 9 times (9-0).
