Personally think Petch when fit is best 22. Each and every year he has improved and if not cut short by injury I think he would be a genuine mainstay now. Another year of constant injury and it could be curtains.
I think Waterman easily gets next year playing significantly more forward. If he kicks 20+ goals, takes a defender and allows Allen to play third tall or as the man jumping into the pack I think he is well worth keeping.
As soon as we have a better prospect who is AFL ready then sure, Waterman moves to the side. However say Darling retires in 2 years. Even if we draft a top tier key forward next year we're probably still going to have Waterman on our list for another 3-4 years and he'll probably make it to 150 games.
