Who is everyone using as a companion? Im trying to lay Piper. Once I nail her, I plan to send her packing.

has anyone been to the BoS and successfully stolen from Proctor Teagan? I was having trouble finding him so googled his whereabouts, only to find a few youtube videos on how you can steal his armoury. I tried using a couple of stealthboys and almost got away with it.

Yeah, I stole his Gauss rifle and a few other things that seemed good. It was extremely easy. I have a feeling it glitched a bit for me because I just snuck in and started grabbing all the good stuff, not even sneaking that slowly.

Often I wonder how much more I could have achieved in my play time so far if it wasn't for my ridiculous need to fully explore every room in every building I go to

but thats how you get resources to spend all that time to build up settlements... I am an OCD hoarder and never leave anything behind...not even a burnt book or a pencil haha

Ive heard that is actually quite effective... would be fun just to the boss the world, and especially when guns just arent cutting the mustard

I started on Normal and after a while I bumped it up to Hard as I was one shotting everything. Hard wasn't that much difference so I've moved to Very Hard. So far it's more of a challenge but not bad, survival might be the next step but for the moment Very Hard is good enough.

last 3 days ive just been using dogmeat. Paladin Danse was just OP and doing more damage to mobs than me. The others can be quite annoying with their dialogue. Dogmeat is also handy at finding things all the time that i never would - like safes on a wall behind a painting.

Didnt even think of that. Only reason I dont use DM is he keeps wandering off

Found a 308 combat rifle receiver - Overseer's Guardian now maxed out with all mods. It's a silent, deadly beast of a weapon.

I swear I overmodded mine, now its a bit crap. I had to revert back to some older mods so I like it more.
I have the 308 receiver.
What damage does yours do? Sometimes mine does 188 but usually its 180.
I maxed out rifles, thought it should be doing more.

I've got a clear marker on the map at the Sunshine Tidal Co Op. I go there, but there is nothing for me to do. Is there anyway to remove it?

Should be a related quest. Check your quest list. From memory you have to clear out the ghouls and set up a beacon?

Yeah I've done all that, there is now settlers there. It takes me to the barn in the middle, then i get to the exact spot and it dissapears. No big deal. Just can't figure out why.

Have you tried clicking somewhere randomly on the map then selecting "remove marker?"

Yes this seems likely. Is the marker solid colour or sort of an outline?

If outline, you have placed the marker there. Just remove it

How much fusion cores do you have and do you need max armourer to fix your power armour up as much as possible?

I've got 40 odd cores, basically because i never use my armour.

And i haven't done too much in the way of mods to my power armour, but you need armourer, blacksmith aaaand science for the top mods

I've maxed Gun Nut, Science and Armorer. I will add some points to Blacksmith and Explosives, just so I can craft most things.

I haven't actually modded for awhile though. Was burning through aluminium. Once I've got all the right perks, I'll go through and fully upgrade my sets of X-01's and any weapons that I don't have maxed.

My best is a snub nose .44 - 151 damage but it also does 50% more damage to synths.

Duuuude my .44 dmg 253 with full ninja perk does 3.5x that - 2 shot kill death claws

Na don't think so cause I remember taking him somewhere. Just realised though that I have some Minutemen missions which once I do, they might show me where he is when I have to talk to him.
