I was really happy with what I made my bloke look like and I don't to replicate it badly for my new save.

has anyone ever given your companion a whole heap of gear to carry only to have it mysteriously disappear? Preston somehow lost all of mine including some legendary armour in Thicket Excavations

yeah I hated it... only used it at the end mission just because I had 80 cores to use and wanted to finish the game in god mode not stealth

On xbox you can scroll through all your saves. Just go back to one right at the start, should be one as you go into the vault or something.

Yeah i used mine for the last few missions. Had over 100 cores so the counter was stuck on 99 haha

Never had that one. Some pick up random crap but have never dropped stuff

After I got Preston's perk I shipped him off to Abernathy Farm with Codsworth and haven't seen him again. So good to not have him cornering me every five minutes when I'm in Sanctuary.

Had 'Raider troubles at Sanctuary Hills' last night. Apparently 18 people including all the Minutemen can't handle it themselves.

Tried to defend Croup Manor last night but apparently the missile turrets killing the synth invader doesn't count & I failed anyway, gave up on trying to keep settlements happy after getting the benevolent leader trophy.

Yeah it's a bug I've had happen twice now.


If you are on pc, hit ~ to bring up the console, click on a synth and type "resurrect" (without the quotation marks) and hit enter. This will bring it back to life.

Kill the synth again and you will complete the mission.

Okay finished up, level 73 in 135 hours.

Chose the Institute, not sure if I can be bothered the other endings, might just give it a break until the DLC comes round.

killing Deacon did though Found him under the bridge outside of Sanctuary, sneak killed him with a shot to the back of the head with the Deliverer he gave me. Was like a scene out of the Sopranos. Most saddening.

I would've actually liked a choice to side with the Minute Men, all 3 of the groups that you could choose from all had bad points. But I found the Institute to be the lesser of the evils.

Yes my first playthrough I sided with minute men.
Currently on second run through and am thinking rail road.... Maybe.... Going very slowly with main mission, trying to find every location and get as many perks as possible.
Still loving this game but also looking forward to DLC

For ****s sake. That was my initial plan, but I went to Desdemona to close off a Drop Box mission and she just decided I was talking to her about it. Thought it wouldn't affect anything, but there you go. Stupid skank she's half the reason I didn't side with the Railroad.

Yeah i just finished it with the minutemen. Was kind of an accident though, as i was planning on siding with BOS.
71 hours to complete, however i must say i was a little underwhelmed with the ending. Just watched the rest on youtube, BOS, minutemen & railroad endings are all very similar.
