Only issue with that 960 is that it is the 2GB. Not sure how taxing some of these new open world games would be on that sort of vram but despite those recommended specs a 4670 and 2GB 960 shouldn't have too many dramas with this at 1080 on mid-high settings I wouldn't think. Probably a good chance to test out my 980 and 4690 but I'm still getting it on PS4. My computer pretty much only pays bills now, I think the specs are a little overkill for BPay.

Thanks for the reply.
I used to have the a Sapphire Radeon R9 280 3GB but had to replace it with this one.
I didn't notice too much difference between that and this one, but maybe because I didn't try new games that require a higher graphics card.
I got Witcher 3 recently which is relatively new, still haven't tried it yet.
If that runs well then it might be decent.

How was it not what was promised?

Never played fallout by am excited for this. Should I play previous games first?

Yep. 3 reasons:

1. They are amazing games everyone should play at least once

2. It will allow you to get used to and comfortable with the controls

3. It is a good way to pass the time before this one comes out.

I would like this in my life now. I have no games I want to play. I want to play this. Time needs to do us a solid and go faster.

I would recommend to play either Fallout 3 or New Vegas first at least. Though I don't think you'll be too disadvantaged by jumping straight into Fallout 4. There may be references to events in previous games, but it's very rarely substantial and shouldn't detract from the enjoyment of Fallout 4.

you should play FO:3 as there will be some reoccurring characters and references to what happened in 3.
but like all bethesda games its not required at all.

Fallout 3 is a precursor to this game, and while it's not necessary there will probably be a few story links and references and such.

New Vegas (at risk of opening a can of worms here) is in my opinion an improvement to Fallout 3, I suggest if you have time/money playing both as they are both A+ games, if not just jump straight into Fallout 4.

Bloody hell, those are some high recommended specs. I bought a new PC a year and a bit ago and it already fee

I'm convinced. Off to buy fallout 3 and new Vegas

Make sure to add some mods before you start. I haven't played 3 for years, but I played NV a few months ago and it was buggy as hell without them (still not great with them, but certainly better).

I'm not going near 4 until it has had plenty of time to be patched after that experience.
