Until release this is probably going to be the only place I go to read about Fallout. The risk of spoilers is way too high elsewhere. Admittedly I wouldn't mind seeing a full list of the perks though.

managed to catch a glimpse of a couple of vids before they were taken down. 3rd person looks quite decent, it actually looks like a viable way of playing the game. Looting is more like the Witcher 3, the game doesn't pause and bring up your inventory like before. There are still load times but they're super quick, like, 1-2 seconds.

It is one of those games where it's more about the journey then the destination

Maybe I've just been extremely lucky but I've never had a problem with bugs from Bethesda. I've bought ESIII, IV and V on release and been fine.

Haven't bought a fallout game on release day but I've often wondered what % of Bethesda games actually get bugs.

Really tempted to buy it for $59 at JB even though i haven't finished FO3 or New Vegas...
Maybe i could play this one first and return to them later.

At the moment it is. If you plan on playing it at all, I'd just preorder it now.

The JB guy i pre-ordered it from instore on Sunday told me it was a pre-order only price. I would guess it will be back up to 80-90 on release day. Also worth noting you need to order it online by tomorrow if you want it guaranteed to be delivered on release day.

Target will have it for $64 mind you if you'd prefer not to pre-order so not a big difference.

EDIT: Target may not have the PC version if that's what you're after. Can only see PS4 and X1 in that link.

This games not easy to get in to..? I'm going to some Pitt now and I have no idea if I'm equipped enough or anything. It feels very borderlands esque with the here's some quests go do whatever.

The Pitt isn't too bad if you are at a decent level. Go there too early and you could have a bit of trouble.
