While i am not up with the PC side of things i think you had to option to preinstall a lot of it before the shipping date?

They shouldn't be... I'm downloading right now and it's maxing my connection.
Granted I'm not on a great connection (around 8 megabits) but still, Steam is normally very good. Try downloading something on PS4 and you will know real pain

Any game with a character creator mode already is guaranteed to waste 30 minutes of my life on it and this game makes me do it for two characters.

I started a dummy game, just to check it out since I intend on smashing through Tomb Raider before getting absorbed in this.

First thoughts are I can't fault the game and I can't wait to spend 200 hours playing it.
