Went lower on strength than i normally would. Going to try and be more of a Lucky, Agile, scientist type. Lots of AP in vats, higher chance of crits, intelligent to level up quicker

Could drop agility by one and increase strength to 4.

i went for a utility build
S: 3 (unlocks armour mods)
P: 5 (unlocks locksmith & more explosives damage, grenades are now plentiful and are button mapped separately from guns)
E: 3 (unlocks life giver more hit points)
C: 4 (work towards that intimidation perk early)
I: 5 (gun mods, hacking, scrapping and high tec mods all unlocked, plus you gain more exp from every point in intelligence)
A: 3 (stat dump for the moment)
L: 4 (mysterious stranger unlocks)

however current stats at level 4

the idea is that i will level up faster due to extra XP and will be able to hack terminals and crack safes sooner.
additionally i'll unlock mods sooner as well, and be compensated with extra vats (i play with a controller so vats is my go to, espically after near dying to ******* mozzie.

If you are a VATS player shouldn't you have increased your agility? Increases your action points

Yep thats certainly an option, lets you carry a bit more and be a bit more savvy with melee weapons.

I want the hit points in VATS that you get by pumping agility though

Reading up it plays more like FPS in this release so you don't have to rely as much on VATS

Thinking of going this, up the endurance so dont have to worry about radiation, and luck to offset the fact im bog average at this game.

Endurance 5
Charisma 4
Intelligence 4
Agility 4
Luck 5

if you're worried about rads go deep into endurance straight off and take the ghoul perk ASAP, Rads will now HEAL you meaning not only don't you need to worry about taking rad damage you don't have to waste points in perks which reduce rad damage.

i would say find a way to get your endurance to 8, then when you go to your house pick up the special book and grab another endurance point. everything is irradiated meaning you'll get extra healing from food and rad water.

not really needed early on. later i will need to go deeper yes. but having more XP is a better trade off in the long run.

Mysterious stranger saved my arse many times in the earlier games.

Plus I am loving the look of that grim reaper sprint perk. Kill a guy in VATS and all your AP is refreshed instantly. Oh yeah

I did a high luck character in NV and the amount of crits you pull off is ridiculous.

How the hell do you get up to the power armour? I got the fusion core and everything, I just can't figure out how to get on the roof.
Taken me so long I just went outside and killed the Deathclaw without it, but i'd still like to know.
