Sorry im a fallout noob, had no idea you could do that.

I'm not even sure it's correct, I think I read it in this thread, I don't do much building. :)

Anyone seen anything otherworldly yet? Level 55 and still haven't.
Narp.

I have missed all the otherworldly's from all Fallouts.

They must be either scared of my awesomeness, or probe me while I'm sleeping.

Found a crashed U.F.O in one of them, but never any little green men.

So, not remembering I send all my settlers to Sanctuary when not using them. I gave some buffout to the bored old lady so she can get a kick and copped around 5-6 dislikes.

Judgmental piece of shit town, after everything I have done for you all.

Alien ship flew overhead as i was going to trinity towers last night. Level 20

Happened to me just outside of Diamond City, don't know what direction though, apparently you have to then find the crashed ship, which isn't easy in a city, not like you can see smoke or anything.

It happened to me when I was inside. Didn't see anything, no idea where the hell it landed.

I roughly know where I was when it happened to me so I will go back and have a look, in front of me was the city and possible into Diamond City so I doubt it crashed that side, behind me was outskirts of the city leading into empty land so maybe it'll be easy to find.

If the ship was the event I'm thinking of, there was just a roar, and a thing shot across the sky trailing smoke.

Super fast. Would be easy to miss

I'm assuming the crash site is always the same place anyway?

Guess I'll start at Oberland station.

Finally worked out how to light a house up!

Had a very quick attempt at hanging a lightbulb and then tried to connect the power to it from a generator but it didnt work. Am guessing more to it than that?

Less really. Put any sort of conduit near it that is hooked up to power and there's a sort of radius of power it generates

Ah okay, conduit to generator and lights ahoy! Will try that.

You can connect construction lights straight to a genny with a wire, but to power things like lightbulbs and tvs you need to add a conduit. That's in the connectors and switches menu. You stick that to the wall/roof of the house, then wire that to the genny. anything that is reasonably close to it in the house is wirelessly powered. If you have to do a whole house you may need a couple of conduits.

You sometimes have to plan your wiring a bit as it can't go through objects and stuff. Some poles help
