That's my problem with companions. Takes so friggin long to up their happiness in your friendship. I usually get bored of them and swap them out.

Swapped Valentine for Cait last night. I want some junky booty

Yeah man, I've liked all the companions so far but Preston is boring as ****.
No dialogue at all and even his voice gets on my nerves.
He gets lost more than anyone else as well.
Wish there was a way to check how far along I am with his approval, just want the perk as I hear it is quite good.

The concrete ones are shack foundations.

Go to wood structures>floors. Cycle through them and you'll find the raised concrete ones. You can stack several on top of each other to make concrete walls

They make awesome fences as you can vary the depth they penetrate into the ground. Handy when its undulating and you want it all on the same level. You can build on top of them too as they are a floor

Yep, I just spammed Jet and Psycho.

Nah I don't really do drugs at all. I just traveled with her quite a bit and unlocked a lot of things.
She really digs picking locks so you can pick her lock later on.

Cait is very close to Diamond city..

They stay or at least my one with Piper did haven't gotten anyone else leveled up yet

You can buy shipments of stuff to complement what is available by scavenging. I guess you could, i think the main constraint would be time. There are like 30 buildable settlements...so an awesome settlement at each will keep you going for a few years.

Also some, like hangmans alley, are tiny so there is only so much you can do with them

I took one look at Hangman's Alley, left the prefabs, added a sleeping bag, a bit of food and a water pump and then washed my hands of the joint.
